I like this taste compared to others. My only reason I gave it a 4 star is because if I do not shake it immediately I get clumps that I have to chew. That is very unpleasant. But it really is a 5 star product if I'm quick about shaking it ASAP. When shaken quickly and it mixes well, it has almost no weight to it. It is not thick, it really is like weird tasting water. I won't lie, this isn't yummy alone, but you can just chug it down and it isn't so bad. I have honestly grown to not mind the flavor. I mean, if I did tequila shots 3 years ago on the 4th of July, why not have that same positive attitude about drinking something that is actually good for me!? As far as benefits, using this product now for maybe 5 months almost daily, my nails are thicker, they quit breaking all the time, and I believe it is helping with my post partum hair loss. I have suggested this to my sisters and basically anyone I know!

I Love this stuff. Its easy to use and works great. I see other complaining about the packaging, but I have no issues with it. I find it easy to open. I do wish they would include a scoop with the size of one serving, but just use a measuring spoon.

My sister introduced me to this product while i was pregnant, and i figures it couldn't hurt to use postpartum to help prevent hair loss. 6 weeks later.. So far, so good! I'm not entirely sure if this is the sole reason but my hair feels great and my nails feel stronger.

I don’t understand what the big deal with the scoop. Why not just state on the container the recommended amount in a simple to understand amount. Few people have a food scale in grams just hanging around the kitchen. How many teaspoons for 10-20 grams???? Keep it simple. I just started using the stuff so I can’t say if it works yet

I always leave reviews because reviews are a huge factor for me personally when deciding to purchase a product, however not all reviews are honest, unfortunately, so I try to leave a review that is honest, even if it's not a good review. I have been taking this VP unflavored collagen peptides for about two and a half months, maybe three, and I actually can tell a difference. My hair is showing new growth, and my nails are growing faster and thicker. I am starting to notice my skin is super soft, and I swear a couple of fine lines have diminished as well (I am JUST starting to get very fine lines around my eyes). I have also noticed that when I bend my knees I do not hear the slight 'popping' sound every single time anymore. I started noticing these changes recently so give it some time. It may take you more than one jug of this to see results, so don't look at getting results overnight or even within a week or two (except for possibly the nail growth which I noticed within approx. 2 weeks!!). I put 2 full scoops in my coffee every morning, it dissolves quickly and has absolutely no taste. I put creamer in my coffee so for those of you drinking it black, I can't comment on no taste. I just started taking the Beauty Gummies as well, I am on my first bottle (2 per day, sometimes 4) but I haven't been taking the gummies with the powder long enough to know if they gummies are making a difference. I will review those after a while of taking them. I would definitely recommend at least trying this powder though, but again recommend giving it time before you make assumptions on whether or not it works. I hope this was helpful.

I’ve never tried Vital Proteins or any collagen product, I take 1 capful instead of 2 in a hot drink(usually chamomile tea). The powder doesn’t dissolve well in cold drinks and I definitely don’t recommend drinking it with plain water since it does have a slight beef flavor that’s unpleasant alone. So far it’s been great my joints don’t feel as stiff and with the Vitamin C I get a boost of energy.

i wanted to try the collagen peptides because I am getting older. Never again will i try this brand. Wasted my money (extremely expensive) when I purchase this product it was two containers one in white container and one in blue. OMG, nothing I put it in took away that horrible flavor. They say it is unflavored, the heck you say. You may be able to bake with it, don't know scared to try and waste my food again. I purchased another brand and its unflavored drink coffee with it everyday.

I had bought a different collagen from my local health food store, but then switched to Vital Proteins because of all the great reviews. I was quite disappointed. It does not taste good and I noticed no benefits. It was also 1.5x the price for a smaller container than the other product. I won't be buying vital proteins again and will be switching back to the other brand.

I'm confused…My product says that 4 tablespoons equals 20g. This product says that 3 Tablespoons equals 20 grams. Sooooo, the fourth Tablespoon has no value? Hard to follow a recipe that calls for a certain weight of collagen powder and not have a consistent measurement. The issue is not with the missing scoop…it's with the inconsistent measurements. 20 grams is 20 grams…3 tablespoons or 4. (the scoop is 4). As for the actual product…I'm pleased with the unflavored version and that it mixes well in my coffee. I'd give the product a 5, the frustration and deceit of servings & measurements a 1--giving a total of 3

So far I'm really liking the product! It's a good source of clean protein - especially love adding it to my smoothies for an extra protein boost. Also love that it doesn't make my smoothie grainy or taste funky. I've only been using it for about a week, so not too sure yet about the other benefits.
