I can only go by what I read about the importance of protein and collagen. Since I lift weights and also run, I can't isolate feeling better to this product. So, I take it on faith. And, that my trainer recommended it. By the way, I'm 81 Yrs old. However, I do have a question about the product, Recently, I've noticed that when I shake the product into my water bottle, it foams up a lot! This is new. It didn't used to do that. Did you change something in the formula that causes this?

I have been using this product for several months now and am pleased with the results. I have noticed that the Unflavored powder dissolves much better than the Chocolate flavor. It would be nice if the Chocolate dissolved like the Unflavored does. I like to add it to my morning coffee but it clumps too much.

My husband %26 I have put a scoop in our coffee every morning for a few yrs. I originally had him begin for increased protein for energy, and yet, we both have our hair stylist tell us how quickly our hair grows. I noticed that it also relieves the joint pain in my thumbs of beginning arthritis %26 I even told my Dr. how much it has helped. I saved the scoop from previous cartons, but I wish they would return to including it.

I have been using vital proteins for 6 years with great results. However, the new packaging is horrible. I have suffered through this packaging for the past year + and over it. Looking to switch to another brand for this reason only. Vital Proteins leadership.... please change it back to the original packaging. Thank you

Love VITAL PROTEINS- blue box. My 80 year old Aunt seen it on my pantry shelf and told me she has taken this for years and swears by it. She always scores well both for bone density and golf. Lol. You should see her skin, it looks fabulous. Apparently Vital Proteins is a family thing. My niece sent me a box as she swears by it as well and wanted me to try this after I had some medical issues causing thinning hair. I am 1/2 way through the box and I have nails. I can only contribute it to Vital Proteins, I haven't had nice nails in years. The healthy hair is starting to happen as well. Flavorless, clean collagen peptides without additional ingredients. First time buyer and had zero issues opening it. Just pull the lid up by the lip, and then remove the circular strip. The opening instructions are very clear, for those that bothered to read them.

Have been using your protein powder for several years. I like this very much, but cannot open your new packaging. With arthritic hands, it is now impossible for me to access the powder. Please improve this or go back to a more easy to open package.

I have been using this product for 2 months, and i feel a bit of a difference in my hair and nails. I know this is a little early but the most disturbing part is the packaging. It is absolutely the worst. It is so hard to open the container. I will think twice about ordering this brand again.

I noticed a lot of reviews complaining about the newer packaging. Since I was a brand new user, I was unbiased. I tried the product and… not only does the powder work but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the packaging. If you just open it the way it's designed, I'm not sure what the problem would even be. As for the collagen, I really think my skin has tightened up some and I look and feel good as far as skin and hair go. I'm going to reorder and keep using. I do wonder if you really need 4 tablespoons per day? It seems like a lot (could you use 3 and get an extra week out of the canister with minimal difference?) but it does dissolve really easily into coffee and has absolutely no flavor. Recommended!

Great product that I have used for 3 years that has improved my body aches and pains and skin. I saw improvement after about 3 months but it really took about a year and a half before I saw complete results. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is, if you're an old lady be sure and have a pair of needle nose pliers to open the box. It says “Pull up, you got this” but it took needle nose pliers to pull before I had it!
