I first purchased this in January 2023, it helped strengthen my hair and nails, and there was no taste. I loved it. I purchased my second one in March 2023 and the taste is too strong, like how a cow barn smells. I will be returning it and trying a new brand.

Have been adding 1 or 2 tablespoons a day to my coffee for roughly 2 months now. Don't even know it's in there...no taste difference! I am 70 yrs old...DEFINITELY notice the difference in my nails and joints. I've had thumb nails for years now that have continually cracked vertically as soon as they get to the cuticle line and sometimes just below cuticle line..I have recently noticed that both thumb nails are now about an 1/8th inch above cuticle line and no sign of cracking...took a while, but nails grow slowly. ALSO, I have osteo arthritis in all my joints...now, instead of much pain, I get less pain and can walk up and down stairs without knees and ankles hurting...My elbows and hand joint are also much better unless I really over do it (was tiling my daughter's shower and instead of working for 3--4 hours every couple days, I went 6 hours for 2 days in a row...OK that was too much...had the old level of pain back for a day. Takes some time to kick in so don't expect immediate results...give it a couple months before evaluating. LASTLY... just a tip about TART CHERRY supplements...I've taken them for years...take them twice a day (easy swallow gelatin coated capsule) am and pm. I never really knew if they really helped, but a couple years ago, I ran out and stopped taking them. After 2-3 weeks I started noticing that my knees ached a lot more, especially coming down stairs first thing in the morning. So I started them up again and about a month later I noticed I wasn't having that problem with my knees anymore. I totally recommend BOTH the collagen powder and tart cherry. (don't know if Sam's sells tart cherry...I'll have to check...I just pick it up at the drug store OTC.) Good Bless/good luck!

This was recommended to my wife and I by a dietician as a great and easy but important source of protein. We both put it in or coffee or our yogurt…very easy and simple. This is a great product and I would highly recommend it. I have also lost 25 lbs in the last year and Vital Proteins is now a fixture in my daily diet. We have also recommended it to our daughter and daughter-in-law, both of whom incorporate Vital Proteins in their diets.

I used this every day for about 3 weeks before I had to stop. For starters, it is easy to use and add to a variety of drinks or foods to take. The flavor is really good. But - I didn’t correlate it right away, but I was “gaining” a considerable amount of weight in those three weeks. I put that in quotations because it wasn’t actual weight gain, I was just retaining so much fluid and bloating like crazy. I finally realized it was the collagen doing this. I stopped using it and immediately I began to go back down to my original weight. While it did help keep me full and feel full, it was really just making me bloated, constipated, and swollen. I looked it up later and realized that this is a common problem for collagen supplements. Unfortunately this brand is no different. So just a heads up, you may experience very uncomfortable digestive issues taking this regularly. It is disruptive enough to me to the point that I will not be continuing to take this.

It truly has no taste or smell (which I cannot say for another brand I purchased and couldn't even use because it smelled so horrible). It dissolves easily and completely in my coffee and doesn't change the taste or texture (I haven't tried it yet in cold liquids). I haven't been using it long enough yet to be able to really notice all of it's benefits, but my hair seems to be growing faster and that is the main reason I started using this product.

I have been taking this daily for the past year. I have noticed a big difference in my hair, complexion and most of all my nails. The results didn’t happen overnight but were gradual. I will continue using this for the beauty results alone. Know that it is making my inside beautiful too.

I've tried a few other brands, and seriously - nothing compares to this one. It truly doesn't have a flavor, and on top of that, it's not so finely milled that it sits on top of even piping hot coffee. It's dense and weighty enough, that it still drops right into coffee with no trouble at all mixing. And my skin is better than it ever has been before! If you're on the fence, just go for it! But make sure the "Vital Proteins" label is at the top, and accept no substitutions!

I have this on a recurring subscription because I have read about all of the benefits of collagen and this brand is great! Mixes well in my coffee every morning. I also love that they include HA and Vit C because I read that your body digests the collagen better with these!

There are many good quality collagen supplements out there these days but Vital Proteins still remains my favorite for 2 reasons. 1- there is truly no taste. Some brands I've tried still have a distinctive bovine taste that I really don't enjoy, this one is truly tasteless. 2- they dissolve quickly and easily! I have yet to find another brand that dissolves as quickly and easily as this brand. In fact, Vital Proteins collagen is the only collagen I can dissolve into a cold beverage (not talking about a smoothie) without weird collagen clumps remaining. These are the things you get for the higher price point, so if these 2 things really matter to you it's worth every penny!

Been taking this collagen peptides about a month now hoping to improve my skin and hair and so far I haven't noticed a huge improvement but I know these things can take time. I love that you can add it to anything and doesn't change the flavor at all but does dissolve as easily in cold drinks. I signed up for auto ship and will definitely continue to us this product and hope for some amazing results.
