I love the vital proteins collagen peptide supplement! I got this and the portable packages to use at college and I love how it has improved the over all appearance of my skin, hair, and nails. I also have much more energy and feel healthier on the inside--I truly feel the effects this product has had on my digestive/immune system. I would definitely recommend trying any item from vital proteins (especially the collagen peptides) because it keeps you feeling healthy and beautiful inside and out!

I use 1 scoop every morning in my coffee. It dissolves immediately with zero taste or smell. Since using it consistently for a little over a year, I’ve noticed how quickly my nails grow plus their strength has increased a million fold - I always tell people you could run over my hands with a truck and my nails wouldn’t budge (this from someone with a history of nails that were so frail they would peel). Also, my hair has grown and continues to grow - not length but actual new hair. My hairdresser was the one who pointed it out noticing that I had literal new hair sprouting from my entire scalp - like a human chia pet! I’ve also noticed increased regularity with my GI system.

I have to drink this with my nose plugged. I gag every single time. Doesn’t matter what I put it in. I’ve tried putting it in coffee and it ruins the flavor. It’s not expired, so I am not sure what the issue is. I can’t even take the full dose of two scoops. Stick to tablets. I will never but this stuff again.

I started taking Vital Proteins collagen peptides in my morning coffee at the start of the pandemic (i.e., ~3 years ago). I'm a fit, athletic 62 year old (runner, Barre3, hiker, etc.). Recently while organizing my medicine cabinet I made an observation that I haven't used any pain relievers, topical analgesics or oral arnica since I started taking collagen! I short: NOTHING HURTS! My joints feel great. I have amazing (yeah, I'm bragging, but, well, too bad!) flexibility, great endurance and have added muscle mass as well (my BMI is <20). Yes, it's an expensive supplement, but, hey, worth every penny.

This product arrived arrived about one month ago, and much to my disappointment, it's already empty. It dissolved nicely into my hot coffee each morning, and didn't have any taste at all. I didn't notice any improvement to my skin, hair, or nails, but in all fairness, I only used one container. Be aware when first opening - the tub will not be completely full. That said, the environmental impact of tossing these containers out with such frequency does not outweigh any potential benefit for me. I'd consider if the company sold larger volumes in sustainable packaging.

I've been receiving the collagen for about 6 months now. The first few batches were perfect. Completely tasteless, dissolved easily, everything was great. However, the past few months, with the new denser powder and the small scoop, the power seems to add a funky flavor when I mix it in. And lately its clumps horribly. I'm hoping the powder will go back to how it was when I first signed up for the subscription, so I'm giving it a few more months to see.
