Love these biscuits. I use the quick method in my toaster oven. They do rise but I leave room between biscuits, 21 minutes for 4 biscuits. Also, I use the convection baking, so maybe this is why they rise and are crispy/flacky fron the outside

I love these biscuits! They’re so versatile and taste like homemade. My only wish is that they came in a larger diameter size for making sandwiches. Think of the opportunities! Fried chicken, eggs, bacon (or ham) and cheese, sausage gravy, etc.
