Installed this tv tonight. So far it's fantastic. We put it on a swivel tv stand because the legs were too far apart for our console. The swivel is working well for us. Out of the box picture quality was a little off but after tweeking the settings it's pretty close to perfect.
Good tv beside this short life it has.
This model of tv must have defects built into it. This is the second TU7000 we had, each one only lasted two years almost to the day. Both time it was the main panel. We are waiting for yet another tv replacement. It gets costly with the travel time and cost of replacing this television. Once was bad enough but twice in four years, come on Samsung you need better model.

DOESNT WORK WITH ALL DEVICES
my first review was censored. This TV simply doesn't work, XBOX series X and Nintendo have both been a problem for months. I cant give you full details of all the troubleshooting steps I've gone through or this post won't be allowed by Samsung but it has been insane. I am now stuck with a TV that only works with one (Apple TV) of my three devices. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!
Hi Roy G, We are sorry to hear that you are having issues connecting your Samsung TU7000 TV to external devices. Please try the following tips to help connect your external devices. When connecting to external devices, please make sure you enable Input Signal Plus and Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) on your TV. Anynet+ will control external devices that are connected to your TV with HDMI. Please keep in mind you will not be able to use Anynet+ if this feature is not supported on your receiver. Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to Settings > Support > Software Update. If you continue to have issues, please reach out to Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link for: 1) LiveChat with an agent 2) Manuals, Software, & Warranty Info ~ Samsung Advisor
Very disappointed!!
TV quit working haven't had it two years yet! This is the second time it's quit working. The first time after two or three days, it finally started back, showing a picture . Now the second time around, it's quit working and have spent countless hours, unplugging and plugging and troubleshooting but this time it's not coming back on or working!! do not buy!!!
Stay away from tu 7000
This is one piece of junk, second time around. Television works for two years and then blank screen and main panel needs to be replaced but cost more then the tv itself. Samsung got me twice in the last 4 years, enough already. Be smart and stay away from this model or better yet stay away from Samsung"…….LG looking really good. One year warranty is a joke with this model

msui: I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing multiple issues with your TU7000 even after a service appointment. I understand your disappointment and frustration. You may want to reset your TV to factory settings by going to Settings > General > Reset Additionally, to check your network, please try the following troubleshooting steps: 1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m). 2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (Wi-Fi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.) 3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test 4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again. 5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. Black screen of death.
This is my first bad Samsung TV. I've bought many Samsungs because I like the features they offer but recently I bought a 65” and this 70”, both tvs were lightly used but this on w died after 3 years. This comes as a surprise to me because this tv probably has less than 1k hours of on time. This tv is stuck at a black screen where it cycles on and off all day/ everyday unless i unplug it
Broke after 10 days
bought this on 12/12/20 and while watching netflix the tv suddenly turned off. then it started flickering, turning on and off every 10 seconds. i couldn't do anything about it so i am simply just going to return it. the date that it broke was 12/22/20, it only took 10 days to break.
BenC: Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly. Please try a few trouble-shooting steps that may help solve the issue: 1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. 5) TVs which can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will need service. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you towards a solution or replacement. 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link in the upper right corner of the homepage for: 1) Contact Us Options (LiveChat, Remote Support, Facebook, Twitter) 2) Product Support 3) Manuals and Downloads 4) Warranty Info 5) Product Registration: Registering your product gives you access to easy warranty support, convenient opt-in to special promos and offers, faster troubleshooting and service, and quick notification of system updates 6) Samsung Community: A great resource for getting help from Samsung moderators and customers and more 7) …and more product, repair, order, and care options ~ Samsung Solutions
Only lasted 5 days...
bought the tv on 10/14. stopped working 5 days later. won't power on. standby light blinks every few seconds. went through all troubleshooting steps. warranty claim requiring me to wait 3 days to get it serviced. i like samsung tvs and have had good luck with a few i have owned, but sometimes, things just are lemons. just seems like i should be able to swap it out with another one.
ck00: Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am very sorry that you are experiencing issues turning your TV on. While you are waiting for Samsung Service, you may want to try the following troubleshooting steps: (1) Make sure that the AC power cord is securely plugged in to the TV and the wall outlet. (2) Make sure that the wall outlet is working and the power indicator at the bottom of the TV is lit and glowing a solid red. If it is off, the TV either does not have power, or it is on and the screen is black. If it is blinking, your TV may need service. (3) Try pressing the TV Controller button at the bottom of the TV to make sure that the problem is not with the remote control. (4) If the TV turns on, your issue may be with the remote control I hope this helps. Should you need further assistance even after your service appointment, please contact Samsung Customer Support: 1-800-SAMSUNG (available 8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week) Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link in the upper right corner of the homepage for: 1) Contact Us Options (LiveChat, Remote Support, Facebook, Twitter) 2) Product Support 3) Manuals and Downloads 4) Warranty Info 5) Product Registration: Registering your product gives you access to easy warranty support, convenient opt-in to special promos and offers, faster troubleshooting and service, and quick notification of system updates 6) Samsung Community: A great resource for getting help from Samsung moderators and customers and more 7) …and more product, repair, order, and care options ~ Samsung Solutions
Nice Picture Quality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting a new Smart TV for my bedroom so I can enjoy Netflix up there and also hoping to get rid of my cable bill. The TV was very easy to set up. I currently still have my cable and I was actually surprised the TV remote will control my cable box and I didn't have to do anything special to set it up. I love all the options with this and was surprised with the Samsung TV channels too. There's quite a few I enjoy watching. Another feature I like is that it auto adjusts to the lighting in the room so when I turn the light off at night, it adjusts to compensate for the light being off. The remote has all the necessary buttons on it I need to operate it. The only thing I wished it had that it doesn't is a backlight button so I can tell which buttons are which in the dark. I think I got spoiled with that feature on my cable remote. The colors on all the channels is crisp and clear. The sound is good and never has sounded muffled and is always crisp. I am considering purchasing another one for my spare room because it really is a nice quality TV for the cost.
