i've had my samsung) a few months. i don't like it. i don't like when it asks me if i'm still watching. when i work i leave it on for my dog. there's a lot of apps you can't get. peacock for example. i also got a vizio. just about every app you can find is available.

Samsung has an excellent picture, though I still feel it struggles with blacks or darker scenes. My television has an ambient light feature to adjust but does not help much with darker scenes. I own a few Samsungs, and I am satisfied with them, but they all struggle with sound. I have an old CRT television, and I can say I get better sound out of that. I have adjusted the sound settings, which there are not many, but to no avail. It seems that most modern televisions want you to but a soundbar or external speakers to get the best or even proper sound, instead of having a good sound to start. The television is used with Cable, Blu-Ray, and streaming services, but the voice and lighter/quieter sounds are never crisp or clear. I have to turn the captions on when I watch to make sure I did not miss anything. Even worse when there is an accent or language outside of English. Fundamentally, the picture is good but sound bad.

We especiallly love watching some of the older movies on it as many things are now picked up on the larger screen. The TV has worked well with different devices for streaming also and makes even we low-tech folks seem like knowledgeable users!

I also love how you have easy access to things such as Netflix, Hulu or any app you download by just clicking on the home button. My tv loads fast and the sound quality is great too. I can change the settings on the sound if I'm watching a movie. I also like how you can change the brightness of the tv at night time so it isn't too bright in my bedroom.

this is my second samsung tv, and although i did experience a couple of issues with the first one, this newest has been outstanding. the picture quality is exceptional and it's an absolute breeze to setup and control. i replaced a vizio (which i would never recommend) with this samsung, and it was the best decision i could have made for a new tv.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I have been window shopping for a new tv for months. We finally made the decision to go with the 65” Samsung 7 series 4K UHD. The tv itself has great picture quality from video games to sports. It's especially nice for new movies released in 4K. The audio is fine for a smaller room, but I would recommend a sound bar or some type of external speakers if you want a good range of sound at higher volume. I would definitely buy this tv again. Only issue I've had is the smart tv feature can be a little slow. This could very well be an internet provider issue as I have not tested the tv on any other internet setup.

Another comparable brand had been purchased for a man-cave use, and we were not totally satisfied with that purchase. We felt confident replacing a Samsung with a Samsung and are delighted that we did. The picture quality is great, the value was good, and the remote in particular is intuitive and very easy to use. Kudos to Samsung. It will continue to be my brand of choice.

It recognized my Blu-ray as soon as i plugged it in and configured the remote for control of the player. Apple devices stream to it with no issues. Wi-Fi setup was easy and adding apps for streaming services was a breeze. All in all very pleasantly surprised and the picture quality is fantastic too.
