I love this television

What's not to like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gorgeous tv has blessed my living room with an amazing picture. The display is so vivid, sharp, and I feel the picture is so clear it looks better than real life sometimes. The functionality of this tv is one of my favorite things. It is straightforward and easy to use. I am a very satisfied and impressed Samsung customer and will continue to buy more of their products. I mean you just can't go wrong.

Needs to be restarted often

just set up this tv three weeks ago and have had to restart 3 times because the apps stopped working. the error says "connection issue" but wifi is strong, and the tv is the only electronic having issues. so far the error has been resolved by restarting each time. i just watch streaming services, i.e netflix and hbo max, i don't use for more intense processing needs like gaming, but i think the picture is fine. i wish the remote had a talk to type function because the search interface is clumsy.

You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection: 1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m). 2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (Wi-Fi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.) 3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test 4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again. 5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. Multipurpose

Very good but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use use the over the air tuner and if we lose signal on 12- channels some times it deletes the channel out of the memory and to watch 12-1 or other 12- channels we have to scan all the channels again. Happens every couple weeks. We do stream channels from internet and use apps for movies which work great. Very happy with quality. Sound works very weird. When you turn TV on you have to volume up every time for few seconds because it is like on zero when you turn it on. Still a great buy and great picture for the price.

Great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really do love this TV. It automatically recognizes my hdmi for xbox as well as nintendo switch. The picture and sound are really nice. I like the power saving mode feature which dims the brightness. You can use the Smart Things app on android to control the TV as well. Love the layout and ability to download more apps. Really great price for Samsung 50 inch TV. :)

Wifi

sorry, one big issue i seem to have is my tu7000 is having is staying connected to the internet. my internet company upgraded my wifi. still gets knocked, this week 2 times. then i have issues with trying to reconnect. i find this unacceptable. my last unit lost it's picture, within 2 years. my first samsung, a non smart tv, still works, with no issue. i will never buy a samsung tv, again. i will go back to sony or may be panasonic.

amazing tv

It is a perfect screen for gaming. For me if it ain't samsung, I won't own it.
