Love this tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv isa 2nd one that I purchased. I got one in the spring and love it so much that I just purchased another one. Both 65 inches. I also have 75 inches same model. All 3 tvs work great. I mostly watch movies. Picture is very clear. Great price too!

Television Has Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this for viewing movies, sports, and streaming. The set that this replaced was good at least I thought it was. I bought a Samsung for my son for Xmas and discovered how mine paled in comparison. I purchased this one for myself and couldn't believe the difference and how much better it is. The picture quality is so clear, the blacks in the background are black, and the bluetooth feature is an added bonus. I've always been partial to Samsung products. My first big screen was a 56" DLP and worked great for 12 years until I sold it to buy my prior 65" and it still had the original bulb in it. I currently have this TU7000 tv, T50M sound bar, and Samsung blu-ray player. They all complement each other for a great viewing and sound experience.

Would NOT recommend

went with samsung because its a popular suposedly high end brand, i dont notice that much of a better picture than cheaper brands. the set up was annoying, it recomended thag you use the app as the “easier set up” download and app, set up an account, then it still wasnt working right. the app itself is awful, opnly tv app i have seen thag doesnt open a keyboard when searching something. after set up the entire menus and changing sources is annoying, annoying menus stay on screen excessively long. biggest issue is being my bedroom tv you need to go through 4 sections of settings to find the sleep timer… really wish i hadnt disposed of the box as it would be being returned for sure.

Great steal

Even though there's only 2 HDMI ports you can't go wrong. I'll recommend all to pick up this amazing television.

Great TV

It actually took me a couple of days to get used to how much better older shows looked on it. It also has a lot more features than I had anticipated. My only gripe is that I wish that I would have purchased it a lot earlier.

Amazing TV!

Love the picture

i do really like this tv but there are issues with the hdmi ports. i have a soundbar that is hdmi arc as well as directv. i had them both plugged in and they worked fine for a month or so but something happened where if i have them both plugged in, i will not get any sound and an error message pops up saying my soundbar is not hooked up to the hdmi arc port which it was. not sure what needs to be done to fix this issue but looking on the forum boards, it seems i am not alone with this issue. other than that, the tv is great!

Beautiful picture for such a large screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We watch cable TV shows and movies, sports and streaming series. I do not like how difficult it is to set the shut-off timer. I hate the fact that this TV shuts itself off randomly, just like my last Samsung. Will be calling for warranty service.

Hi Qantas77, Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV turns on and off repeatedly. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue: 1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. The TV will likely need service if the issue persists after these steps. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you with a solution or replacement. Great picture but not so great smart features.

i love the picture but hage been having problems with the remote and tye apps. tge tvhooked up to my altice cable box out of the box and it was displayed in the apps and the remote worked with the box as well but after one day it stopped. now the box dies not show in the apps abd the samsung remote will jot operated the altice box. i've tried everything but nothing works. rebooted tv. rebooted box. called altice. changed hdmi cable. nothing works to solve the problem. maybe i got a lemon.

Samsung 50" TV
