TV Great! Hate remote and base.

the tv is great, but too smart for us. we're in our 70's. we hate the remote. why all the numbers and small small buttons???? we had to go back to using a firestick. samsung doesn't make/offer a simpler remote. also, we hate the stand . our old samsung came with a very sturdy and useful swivel base. this one is plastic and ugly and doesn't swivel. again, they should make options.

Great for Casual Viewing

My younger children are able to navigate to their favorite streaming services very easily, so I particularly enjoy the user-friendliness of it as well.

Mesmerized

I was stunned with a 55” it was a lot bigger than expected and the picture quality is mesmerizing. I bought two and I'm looking forward to buying another soon. Great TV for the lowest price absolutely amazing!

Great Product!

The only negative has been that the sound is lower while watching certain programs and/or features. Other than that I love it and would 100% recommend it giving the price and size.

2019 Version - Screen is Garbage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 2019 model brand new and just recently the the left section of the screen is very dark and flickers when 1st turning on the power. TV was great when new, but deterioted quickly in 3 years. It should last longer than that.

Hi there, Thank you for your review and your feedback on the TU7000 TV screen. There are a few troubleshooting steps I recommend to see if we can resolve the issue of your screen flickering. 1. Run a Picture Test on the TV. Navigate to Settings, select Device Care, and then select Self Diagnosis. Select Picture Test, choose OK, and then view the test. You can select Yes if the picture looks normal, No if there is a problem with the picture, or Show again to see the picture a second time. 2. Determine if the distortion is appearing during the Picture Test. Look for distortion on the screen during the Picture Test. If there is no distortion, this means your TV is working fine. To identify and fix the issue, try replacing the cable of the external device showing issues. - If the distortion still appears after replacing the cable, troubleshoot the external device. - If distortion appears during the Picture Test, proceed to the next step. 3. Request service if distortion appears during the Picture Test. Please visit our Support Center to request service if you see distortion during the Picture Test. When calling, ensure you have the TV's model code, software version, and serial number. Call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Next-Gen TV without breaking the bank!

Extremely responsive, access to all of the latest apps, and able to stream from Samsung devices AND Apple devices via Airplay. I really enjoy the feature where you simply tap your Galaxy device on the side of the TV to initiate Smartview. Great picture as is the case with all Samsung displays. Don't miss out!

Great Price

had a 4k smart sony bravia 55 that tanked after only 5 years. bought my 55 class tu7000 4k smart for 1/3rd of the sony price. only real problem is on me. i did not check and when setting up later found there are only 2 hdmi's! tv's in this age can't have 2. what with blu-ray, sound bar, & cable you need 3 minimum. do your homework and check before buying any tv.

Looks great, connectivity sketchy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV has a great picture and good sound. The only complaint I have is with the network connectivity. It connects easily but the connection drops repeatedly. It's in close proximity to the router and I have a high end network. I finally ended up having to attach a Chromecast and it works great with that.

2020 TV?

i bought this tv as a replacement for my 60in vizio from 2016. the vizio still works great, but i wanted a 4k tv with a better refresh rate. with my vizio i could cast any streaming app from my phone to it...from netflix to crunchyroll, but with my newer samsung i can only cast netflix and youtube music. amazon prime, hulu, discovery+, while they're on smarthub, the tv will not show up on the cast menu. after 3 hours texting and talking to customer support from parts unknown, the conclusion they finally gave me...after 3 disconnects...was that well, those apps just don't support the model of tv. they don't what?! ok, cool, awesome...so the tv itself is pretty good, screen is clear and vivid, looks great. smarthub has ads...blah. wish i could take it back.
