It's big, it's cheap, but it's flaky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] pros: big & cheap - good value for size. one of only a few displays available @ 58". cons: flaky ui / interface with lagging and freezing. very picky hdmi connections, especially when using arc audio return channel. image is bright and 'crisp', but suffers from video 'noise' unless nr is turned on, which softens everything up. judder reduction feature caused 'soap opera effect' while turning it off gives a very poor viewing experience, especially for sports.

Anthony: Thank you for sharing your experience with the TU7000 TV. I am sorry that your TV is lagging & freezing periodically. Have you tried Device Care option? Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. You can try the following steps to eliminate the soap opera effect. Navigate to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings Navigate to and Select Picture Clarity Settings The default setting is Auto. This means the feature automatically turns on and off based on the type of program being watched. Change the setting to either Off or Custom. If you select Custom, three additional options are available for further customization to your viewing preference. -Blur Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Blur setting. -Judder Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Judder setting. -LED Clear Motion: This option allows you to configure the LED backlight to sharpen fast-moving images. Select to turn On or Off. I hope this helps. Just plain awesome!!

it is a wonderful thing when ai sets most of the settings for you. the picture is stunning, the wireless connection is seamless, and apps are easy to load. this has been the best electronic purchase i have ever made. it makes me want to throw out the rest of my smart tvs and get more samsung smart 4k tvs. now i know.....get one and enjoy!!

Picture is decent but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the first month I had the tv everything was sluggish and slow and I tried finding updates repeatedly and powering off/unplugging etc but nothing seemed to fix the slowness, I'm talking 2 seconds to respond to a button push, I use a pc so once its set its not a massive issue but the other issue i had was every time I switched inputs the tv powered off. Then miraculously after a month or so one day I accidently unplugged it while the tv was on and those issues disappeared. I'd unplugged it while it was off/asleep at least a dozen times trying to fix this so if anyone else has the same issue keep trying to unplug it while on lol

Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds. Amazing Quality, Amazing Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of all the TVs I've owned never have I felt satisfied with my purchase as much as I do with this Samsung. From the low price, the ease of use, and the feature packed UI, the TU7000 is all around AMAZING. I use almost every feature on the daily and mainly for gaming on my PS5. The 4K Image quality is so vibrant and bright and the sharpness doesn't leave me fiddling with settings to get the perfect setting for crisp, no jagged edged and defined picture it also doesn't have me turning sharpness down to the point its fuzzy and smeared looking it has the spot on in between where every time you use it its still as jaw dropping as it was on day one. If your someone who's on a budget, or someone who all in all just wants a beautiful picture with little to no effort to navigate and someone who wants a top tier feature packed smooth UI in their television then the Samsung TU7000 is that television and will not disappoint!

Great HD Quality. Should have done this sooner.

All of the instructions can be a bit intimidating but once you get it working it is worth it. The volume/volume controls are less than desirable however.

Good tv bad remote

we would rate the tv as a 4 but the remote seems complicated compared to the other tv system we have. it was more difficult to initially set up and i have to say we are still struggling with the remote for locating shows and specific episodes the picture on the tv is good.

43" Class TU7000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV (2020)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV on Aug 1, 2020. It was easy to set up and mount it on top of my dresser in the Master Bedroom. Turning it on, connecting it to cable and Wi-Fi were easy to do. The picture is clear, the colors are bright, and the size is just perfect for my viewing distance. I would recommend this and/or any other Samsung TV, as I believe they produce the best TV for the best picture at a bargain price.

Great Quality, Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There really aren't any surprises with this product. It fits the bill as one of the best in its class. I am pleasantly surprised with the volume on this, as well as the easy setup. One thing that bothered me at the outset was that the default setting was the soap opera mode (very slow, YouTube style video). It took some digging to learn how to change it to the Filmmaker mode. Otherwise, no complaints.

My Samsung tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I like that I can go straight to Netflix and u was surprised that when u turned it on it had its own channels without an antenna connected and I also like it's great quality and i love that it fits perfect in my room. It also has Hulu, Apple TV and I like that because I can use those both apps and Disney channel to for my lil sisters and about the channel's that it has of its own I use the music the most and it has YouTube when I just want to see funny videos well hopefully I get to buy another tv that's bigger this year I was thinking qled my older brother had told me is really good but I'll buy it for my living room
