picture is great, sound is clear, setup was a breeze. the remote is a bit busy for me. i prefer the older, sleeker style that came with my 55” i purchased in 2017. my only major complaint is with the smart hub. it is very laggy and makes scrolling through apps more difficult than it should be.

2 things you should know. when you 1st turn on the tv, and want to load a specific app, it is very hard to tell which app you have highlighted to click. 2ndly, - fast forward, rewind, pause, play btns are all at the bottom. It's very difficult to hold the remote at the very bottom, and press those keys. i have tried to buy another remote, but anything that will sync w samsung, those keys are at the bottom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd flat TV purchase since 2006, and my first Samsung. I'm amazed to see the dramatic improvement in value for one's dollar, as well as the technology overall. It's making me feel old...but I digress. Let's get the bad out of the way first. The remote is cluttered and poorly organized, with too many shortcut keys for some functions and not enough for others. I've stumbled into the wrong screen more than a few times while just trying to change the channel or volume. The “smart” interface is also cluttered and pretty illogical. It could benefit from some bloat reduction and start menu type hierarchy, considering it doesn't need to do anything complicated. The “hub” is a fair attempt at this, but still suffers from indelible “sponsored” and “suggested” content. The interface also seems laggy, and I'm fairly sure it's not my Internet connection...sometimes I have to wait a second or two before a command is executed. Perhaps most puzzling is the glitch I encountered and was able to get around by reading a support forum- a new content app can't be successfully installed unless the TV has recently been disconnected from AC power so it can fully reset. Oh well, no big deal. Everything else is great- to my untrained eyes and ears, the picture and sound are great, and the price certainly was right. Just be sure to switch to “FILMMAKER MODE” unless you're fond of the frame smoothing effect that makes everything look like it was shot on home video. Cheers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV was very easy to set up. Easy step by step hook up as soon as I put in WIFI log in and password it started to connect to Samsung channels. It was easy to set up all our streaming apps. The picture is great. I have it set up on the wall in the master bedroom and we only stream at this time. I also hooked the TV up to a small digital antenna. I was amazed how many channels it picked up, more then all my other TVs I have. It takes a few minutes to figure out the remote once it is done you can maneuver any where you want. I cant complaint about anything on this TV. I love my Samsung 4k Smart TV.

i was excited about this product because of the price, 4k, and smart tv features. the picture is good in light scenes, however the backlighting is terrible in dark scenes. if the scene is dark you can barely make out what's on the screen. frustrating to watch tv and not be able to make out what you're watching because of brightness issues. brightness only goes up to 50. please fix the backlight issue, its 2020, we should be able to see whats on screen. also, the remote is not very user friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color and picture on the TV is fantastic to me, much better than any other TV I've owned or paid attention to, apart from multi-thousand dollar models. The sound is nothing to write home about, and sometimes dialogue can be hard to understand, but no major complaints. The UI however can be very annoying and get in the way. Even with all the settings changed to make it as unintrusive as possible, it still sometimes comes up when a device is changed or the TV is powered on, and won't go away without hitting exit on the TVs remote. This is extra annoying, as I don't use the TVs remote for anything else, but have to keep it in reach. Aside from the UI annoyances, the TV is definitely worth the price, and is fantastic for movies, shows, and games.

I wish the web browser was better and had a better interface. The picture is surprisingly difficult to adjust and is nothing special but blacks are especially disappointing.; There is so little depth the blacks actually become mirror like. The settings are difficult and sporadically available. Meaning buttons may be grayed out for no reason.

bought this 58" on a whim as it was open box and it was incredibly cheap so all it had was the power cord and no remote nor instructions. got it home and set it up very easily and was pleased to find out the remote from my previous samsung tv worked perfectly with it so i did not have to buy a universal remote. the size is perfect for my apartment and i would say the pic quality and sound is above par. all in all a great buy.

Out of the box, the set-up is extremely easy due to the printed and online help and manuals. The easy to use universal remote is a plus in reducing the need for additional media remote devices. The pre-installed apps are great and adding new apps are incredibly easy. The TU7000 razor sharp picture is so awesome whether you are sitting a foot away or across the room. Its transparency is obvious when you are viewing the screen from a 45 degree angle and the focal clarity does not diminish. The on-screen sound setting leaves nothing to chance by allowing you tweak and adjust the audio to your perfection. This is a great investment!
