Lasted 1 1/2 years.
The TV picture is fine. It has enough inputs. The home screen is a bit messy and you can't remove certain channel icons to clean it up. The remote, I feel, has way to many very seldom used buttons. Those issues are subjective issues. What is not is the TV after 1 1/2 years is now randomly rebooting. I've updated & factory reset with the issue still present. So, I bought a larger TCL. WAY happier.
Hi Just me, Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV turns on and off repeatedly. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue: 1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. The TV will likely need service if the issue persists after these steps. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you with a solution or replacement. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Great visual clarity with limited storage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV has a bunch of amazing features built into it where it can get content from your streaming services and show recommendations. I have a bunch of streaming subscriptions and only complaint I have that actually matters is that there's very limited built in storage to support as many apps that I want to install. Just like the Samsung phones the a bunch of bloatware that I can't Uninstall leaving me with very limited options.
Great Quality and Style
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only buy Samsung TVs. They are the best TVs in my opinion. We have 6 Samsung TVs in our house and 4 Samsung Computer monitors. We use our larger Samsung TVs for watching movies and TV. We use our smaller Samsung TVs mostly for gaming. We have one 70", two 55" inch, two 40", and one 32". Samsung TVs have excellent picture quality and their "hub" (for accessing Nextfilx, Prime, Hulu, etc...) is easy to use. Great product!
This product is incredibly versatile
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our TV for a lot of different things but mostly for gaming and movies. We have movies that range in age from the 80's all the way up to current. No matter which movie we pop in, this TV has incredible quality. The speed and graphics are better then any TV I've ever owned. This TV is also compatible with all of our devices. Our tablet, both my husband and my phone, and it has all of our favorite streaming apps as well. No matter what we feel like watching or doing, this TV does it beautifully. We also live out in the country and don't have reliable wifi. If we want to watch a streaming service we have like Netflix or Disney+ it's as easy as casting to the TV so we can simply run off of our cell signal. This is absolutely my favorite TV I've ever had, and we plan on upgrading to all Samsung TVs in the future.
Great potential, very disappointing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV has all the functional capabilities of a smart TV (connect to any streaming service with ease), and is very simple to set up. The sound in particular is awesome! Unfortunately, I've been using the TV for 2-3 weeks now, and it will freeze up upon start up. When turning it on, it will freeze up and it seems the only solution is to unplug the TV. Navigating the home page is very slow also. I have yet to experience it freeze up while watching a show/movie, but it's very annoying to experience upon start up of the TV. I don't recommend this TV due to these issues.
jgal0: Thank you for sharing your experience with the TU7000 TV. I am sorry that your TV is freezing periodically. Your TV has several self-diagnosis tools built in that can help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds. Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using and the new version is the latest update. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit. no cocnection with my devices
this tv is neither connecting with my samsung smartphone nor my laptop when use the smart view application or wireless display. also, i have a hard time accessing netflix. this is surprising since i have a previous generation samsung tv that works perfectly with wireless connection and netflix
Sophie: Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your Smart View app. Please use the SmartThings app as the Smart View app is no longer supported. When downloading the SmartThings app to your phone, you may need to check the following: 1) Please make sure both devices are connected to the same local network. The phone and TV must be connected to the same network as your router to be discovered by the app. 2) Refresh the device using the SmartThings app. From the Devices tab, swipe down to refresh the device list. 3) Delete and re-add the device on the SmartThings app. I hope this helps. For further assistance, please contact Samsung Customer Support. 1-800-SAMSUNG (available 8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week) Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link in the upper right corner of the homepage for: 1) Contact Us Options (LiveChat, Remote Support, Facebook, Twitter) 2) Product Support 3) Manuals and Downloads 4) Warranty Info 5) Product Registration: Registering your product gives you access to easy warranty support, convenient opt-in to special promos and offers, faster troubleshooting and service, and quick notification of system updates 6) Samsung Community: A great resource for getting help from Samsung moderators and customers and more 7) …and more product, repair, order, and care options ~ Samsung Solutions
Good TV, Bad Setup Experience
Overall, have been happy with the TV quality and picture so far, but have only been using it for less than a week. On the plus side, the TV is very sharp looking on its 48” W black stand. A Polk Signa S2 soundbar fits neatly between the legs and below the screen and gives everything a customized look. On the downside, getting the TV to connect to the internet was a nightmare. You get to a set-up screen that requires 1) a mobile device and the SmartThings app To configure your set up or 2) the remote control which brings you to an Accessibility menu that had greeted out functions that did nothing. So we had to download the SmartThings app, create a new account, manually enter the TV since auto discover did not work....and after all that....the setup bombed and we were finally given an option using the TV remote (no joke!) to complete the setup. All this took about an hour. So if you buy this TV and don't already have SmartThings set up on your mobile, beware!
After two weeks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up was great easy walkthrough using my smart phone. Picture is great for both gaming, streaming, and movies. I have it hooked up to Alexa and while she doesn't fully function at times this could be due to the tv, Alexa herself, or the application SmartThings. BIG ISSUE: the screen had lines causing bad picture quality only two weeks into the purchase we returned it for the same model and will be monitoring the tv closely.

Ultra fast and convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv works great with all new smartphones. Using features such as airplay is awesome and way faster than other tv products out in the market. The crystal 4k screen is super crazy. It first seemed unrealistic to me.
Great display, bright with high quality display
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this smart tv to watch movies, news and sports. The OS is user friendly, and easy to use. The display is bright enough in the day light (indoor use) so it is easy to watch hours of videos without have your eye gotten tired. All in all, I recommend it to who wants a high quality mid-priced smart tv.
