Great New TV!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price, this was a great addition. I purchased this TV for a guest bedroom. It has great picture quality. The hub for apps does run a little slow, TV remote uses IR which isn't the best. Overall still a great TV for the price. Samsung does make an overall great product for entertainment.

We love our TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After moving into a new apartment my boyfriend and I made the plunge and bought this tv. We love the picture and sound quality, and the ability to access all our favorite streaming sites. Plus, the ability to use your phone as a remote control is a bonus. Happy to say I can finally see what show I'm watching without glasses. A great deal!

Great quality for a great price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV about a month ago and it has been a great product for the price range. The majority of apps that I use to stream shows are available on the Samsung smart TV selection. The colors are great and bright, but there are some glares when direct light from a window hits it. The TV connects to my phone with airplay seamlessly and changes inputs very smoothly. I am very impressed with the picture and sound quality. The game mode feature is useful and there is no noticeable lag when playing games online. Some cons I've noticed are that sometimes the tv will begin to flicker, which was very confusing, but after turning it off and back on it goes away. Also, at first the home menu and app selection is a little confusing and hard to navigate, especially when compared to third party smart tv plug ins. The TV remote itself is also a little cluttered and I end up hitting the wrong button when navigating. Having only two HDMI ports is also very limiting and I do have to unplug systems and plug others in when switching. Overall it is a great TV for the size and price range, being able to get all your favorite streaming apps, 4K quality, and impressive sound. I would recommend to anyone looking for a large 4K TV on a budget.

Great picture

uograded from a 37" insignia to this 50" samsung. much better picture quality, and it is so convenient having our apps on the tv so we dont need to cast anymore. my only trouble is that the tv does not recognize our comcast cable box, so the remote does not work as a universal remote for the cable.

Good 4k tv in need of improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the picture quality of this TV. It's amazing 4k picture is stunning. Few issues with it. It's very slow to respond to the remote, the lag can be annoying at times. Another issue is that sometimes it doesnt download app- and you have to unplug tv for that to work. Speaking of apps, the tv has very little memory storage so i cant download all the apps that i want want once. Verdict; buy this tv if you like good quality pictures. But if you have a lot of steaming apps, you'll have difficulty downloading and storing due to low storage.

Not happy

Got this tv in mid December 2022 and I'm not really happy with it. I had a 65” Amazon fire tv Omni Series before this one and the fire tv beats this tv all day long. I purchased the fire tv in the summer and I was having some blurry issues with it. I thought it was the tv since it wasn't a well none tv like lg or Samsung so I purchased this Samsung tu7000. Once I got the Samsung hooked up, it was having the same issues as the fire tv so it must be shows or the internet or something. I find the picture on this new Samsung really dark. I have it set to standard but it's just really dark, and if I put it on dynamic, it's to bright and I find it glares sometime. My other Samsung tvs are way brighter on the standard mode, not sure why this tu7000 is so dark. The sound isn't as good as my other samsung tvs either, which is disappointing but it's a lot better than the fire tv. The fire tv was a lot easier to use with Alexa. I purchased the tu7000 because it said it worked with Alexa, But the remote didn't have a voice button. So I'm not exactly sure what works with Alexa means. I purchased an Amazon echo dot and tried to hook it up to the tv but it doesn't seem to do anything. I'm going to call in and see if I can get some help with that. But overall, yes I'm disappointed in this tv. And I'm very disappointed if I can't get Alexa to work to change the volume, turn tv off and on, change apps, pause, rewind etc.

Hi Allan988, Thank you for letting us know about your experience with the TU7000 TV. Please know we are here to help. I recommend adjusting the below settings to improve your picture and sound. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. You can also go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings and configure the image settings to your taste with additional functions. Additionally, there are several sound settings you can adjust to suit your personal sound preferences. Change the Sound Mode by going to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode. You can also customize the sound with Expert Settings by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. Regarding Alexa, the TU7000 TV will work with a stand-alone Alexa device, but it does not have one built in. I hope this helps you enjoy your experience. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Advisor

Nice TV with good qualities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture on this TV is stunning right out of the box. I do have a calibration disc that I use to fine tune the settings on my TVs. I didn't have to change any settings. I was really impressed with that. The sound from the built in speakers is also really very good. The remote is very simple to use and as a bonus it is a universal remote that works my DirecTV system and my sound bar. So no more having 3 or 4 remotes laying around. This thing has almost no frame to speak of which is very sleek looking. It has all the built in apps that you need with dedicated buttons on the remote for Netflix and Amazon. It also has built in Disney+ which is awesome. There are plenty of connections for all your other equipment such as sound bars, game consoles, and DVD players and you can control them all with this TV and remote. The drawbacks I can see is I can turn television on and off with Alexa, but do nothing else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like buying the latest TVs, I'm a movie buff who enjoys good quality tv. This tv did not disappoint. Picture quality is great, brightness sensor, voice control has no issues. Great value for the price. One remote does everything you need. Easy to set up. Not bulky. Looks great in my room.

50" Class TU7000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV (2020)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old Samsung TV died right when Covid shut down began so needed a new TV. Remote control response is slow and blacks flutter on screen occasionally. Game mode works well with the Xbox one. Overall good quality picture.
