Navigating the interface

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi I wanted to let you know that the interface to move between apps and other aspects of the UI is pretty bad. For one, the highlighted app is hard to detect especially if the app logo is black. Secondly, the controls on the remote and how the UI interacts with it is very clunky - i can't seem to get the cursor to where I want it very easily. It also always want to default to samsung TV - which is annoying. This is not a simple problem - the interface is so bad I believe you will not get repeat buying of this platform unless it is updated to work better and be more intuitive. Please let me know if there are plans to update the UI.

Excellent TV. Sharp picture. Vibrant colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smart TV with many free streaming channels. Colors are great. Blacks are not ideal. I can connect and stream from my Samsung mobile devices. I can use my Samsung phone as a remote. I can also stream from my iphone with an add-on app.

Blown away...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm just blown away by the picture quality! Using this TV for streaming and the resolution is phenomenal. Just replaced my 11 year old TV with this and I'm very happy I did! The setup using Samsung Smart Things on my Samsung phone was so easy as well! Within seconds, I was connected to the internet and my accounts were linked. Outstanding sound quality through my Bluetooth soundbar was another bonus. Thank you Samsung!

Great Price

had a 4k smart sony bravia 55 that tanked after only 5 years. bought my 55 class tu7000 4k smart for 1/3rd of the sony price. only real problem is on me. i did not check and when setting up later found there are only 2 hdmi's! tv's in this age can't have 2. what with blu-ray, sound bar, & cable you need 3 minimum. do your homework and check before buying any tv.

Beautiful clear picture, great built in options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised to see just how smart the Samsung Smart TVs have gotten. I'd purchased one a few years ago for a different room and loved it so went with the same brand for this purchase and it is even better. I got a roku stick to go with it but with all of the options already offered, including live TV, the roku is redundant. The picture is beautiful, the sound is great, it was easy to get out of the box and install, and it is a perfect addition to my workout room.

Product has great useful features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love using my Samsung tv, because it has two features that really stand out to my, for one is the apps that the tv comes with my personal favorite is the Spotify app. I downloaded through apps form the tv and I really loved it i can listen to music form the tv I find it really cool and I hope With more time you can add more cool apps just like Spotify overall I enjoy that the tv already comes with Netflix, Disney, Hulu, YouTube it really help me out in not having to use a service box to use the services. Another great feature that I enjoy was the airplay feature I do school work and sometimes I have to be presenting with the AirPlay I can easily share and show pictures on a bigger screen and it syncs to what ever shows on my phone and , so far I haven't had any problems with it. Thank you Samsung for making a great durable tv.

Great Refresh Rate and Quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV has been great for me so far. The Quality is great, frame rate is great. However colors are a littlr on the dark/warm side. One thing also is it comes with Defaulted settings that ultimately make it looks worse. I recommend turning all additional picture features off (such as Judder Reduction) for the best settings. The UI us a little confusing as well, but got used to it quickly.

Great product

We especiallly love watching some of the older movies on it as many things are now picked up on the larger screen. The TV has worked well with different devices for streaming also and makes even we low-tech folks seem like knowledgeable users!

Good TV, Terrible Remote Control

Overall it a nice TV though I'm not impressed with the "Smartness" part. The web browser is both slow and quite awkward to use even with a wireless mouse and keyboard. It come installed with apps for Hulu, Netflix and Prime. I cant comment on Hulu and Netflix as I only have Prime but an Amazon Firestick with its own remote is far superior to the Samsung app which leads me to the Samsung remote control. There are dedicated buttons for Hulu, Netflix and Prime which take up real estate better used for something else if only for more spacing between other buttons. And Heaven forbid you unintentionally press one. Backing out is a frustrating three step process. There are two other menus available to access those apps. Why have dedicated buttons. The remote itself is too skinny, buttons on the small side and too close together. It's the only remote I've ever had that has the "power" button on the top left. It has a round back that prevents one handed operation when laying on a table or next to you on a sofa as it rocks side to side if you attempt to press a button. You must pick it up to use it or use a second hand to hold it steady. The buttons suffer from contact bouncing which is very annoying. Intermittently skips up or down channels and volume settings. Sometimes three of four increments. Bottom line: the worst remote I have ever had. BN59-01315A If you have cable and mostly use the cable remote, then it's not much of a problem. Otherwise ... I would only recommend this product to a friend after demonstrating the remote.
