I had been eating a Concept 2 rower for a long time. This rower seems to be just as good. The PM5 monitor for the Concept 2 is probably the only thing that is better than the Stamina X. But for the $400 cost difference (on sale) I think it was a no brainer. I'm happy so far. Easy to assemble. (Read instructions before you start because you need to use some of the packing foam as a stand while assembling)

Machine delivered to doorstep on time specified. Assembly was accomplished in about an hour, requires two people for some parts of assembly. Proper tools included. Used that day, a smooth, excellent machine, sturdy and relatively quiet. Everything it said it was and would be. A real pleasure (well, it is exercise) to use.

The mechanics of the rower are quite good. If you just want a rower that gets the job done then this is a good one. The shortcomings are in the fit/finish and in the electronics. The assembly took some finesse due to the screw and bolt holes not all being aligned correctly, but I was able to muscle it together. Regarding the electronics, I did a direct side by side to compare the calories the rower calculates versus what the Polar app calculates. I had my heart rate monitor paired to both of them simultaneously to ensure the results were comparable. The Rower said I burned almost double the calories than what the app said.

Smooth and easy to use. Has a heart rate monitor belt and a good monitor.

I bought the rowing machine about a month ago. It was shipped in one box but two pieces. This made it easy to locate in a bedroom/gym and put together. Assembly was easy and the instruction manual was very well done.

Well built and comparable to Concept 2 in design and quality. However the monitor does not measure or show split times (time per 500 metres) which is the most useful metric for any serious rower. This is a major deficiency.

This rower is every bit as good as a Concept 2 at hundreds less It might even be made by the same company. More than pleased with this purchase purchase!!

I have owned a Concept II rower in another state. I ordered this when I saw the price but the shape and lines of it were very similar so I gave it a try. As it turns out, I am loving it so far!

Excellent machine.we bought this instead of concept 2 ,not knocking them but we have a great rower and saved 400 dollars.thats not a small thing. Easy assembly smooth quiet operation 5 stars.
