So far, so good. I got it a month ago and have been using it pretty regularly (doing 5-10km on it per time). I lift weights and I am a pretty fit guy. It seems nearly identical to the Concept 2 that I use at the gym. It was pretty quick to put together and I have not had any issues at all with it. I have not tried to use the heart rate monitor that comes with it.

I was looking for a good alternative to a Concept 2 because of price and after much research this was it. Very solid and smooth with good features such as chain pull and damper to adjust resistance. Only minor disappointment is the programs available on the display- wish there were more options. Other that that very satisfied.

I have had this for a little over a week it is a great rower equal to that of the more expensive ones in the gym such as the concept it is a little more expensive however you get what you pay for

I did my research to compare this with the Concept 2 from my gym. I am very pleased with my new rower. It works and feels very similar to my gym rower. Even my boys can use it now.

We would use something similar to this model at our local gym daily. Condensed our workout to just this so we decided to buy one for home so we could save on the trips to gym. I did my research. Turned out that this is even better than the one we used. Thinking about buying another one so we can workout at the same time. The monitor takes two C batteries. It took a while longer to put it together but it was not torturous. My husband hates putting stuff together and did not complain once. Highly please with the results. It is awesome. Plus members have free shipping. No excuses. Love it.

I was looking for a rowing machine to purchase. All my experience with rowing machines was been with Concept2 machines. This is closest machine I could find that came close to matching the Concept2 at an affordable price. It has met all my expectations. The X AMRAP can be a little challenging to assemble at times. The only major difference I could find was the computer display. The Concept2 has a better computer, but I found the X AMRAP computer met my needs just fine. Awesome overall quality in comparison to other available models previously owned a 1399 and this one blows it out if the water . Warenty and great customer support as well slight recommend ation . I'd like to see a blue tooth capable monitor from u guys one day and maybe an app . Theirs a vr app i use wile rowing that accepts rowing data via Bluetooth and I'd really love to be able to use a stamina rower with it

My #1 piece of exercise equipment! As a runner, besides the great outdoors, this is my essential one piece of exercise equipment. This tones shoulders arms, abs. Obliques, waist, hips, and legs. This rowing machine is gym quality. Workouts are scaleable from beginner to the well-condition. Rowing mechanism is smooth and quiet and the seat glides effortlessly back and forth. There are all kinds of options for monitoring your workout (time, distance, calories, etc.) I looked at a similar rower that costs 3x as much ( I don’t need to watch rowing videos while I work out) and chose this one hands down. Quick delivery and less than 30 minutes assembly (all parts and tools included). I’ve already lost 9 lbs. and a pant size the past two weeks. Great workout, Best Buy!

We are converting one room in our home to a home gym. This rowing machine is equal to any commercial machine I have used in a gym. Smooth and easy to use. Set up is a little challenging. The biggest problem is getting the pin in (correctly) that holds the two main pieces together. Even in the video the guy doesn't have it right the first time, but it is corrected later in the video. Be patient this part is a pain. After it is together you will have a great machine and be very glad you bought it. I am so impressed with Stamina products that I bought a recumbent bike, that just came in today. I am looking forward to getting it together and giving it a try.

When I first put the machine together there was a slight knocking sound coming from the fan. When I removed the fan cover I discovered a small hex nut stuck to the magnet. I couldn’t find a location for the hex nut so I assume it was picked up by the magnet during assembly at the factory? After I removed the nut the machine worked flawlessly. I use a CONCEPT 2 at the gym as part of Crossfit wod’s on a regular basis. This rower not only equals the gym’s rower but is actually a little more taxing when set at the highest fan level-where most of our Crossfit wods are done at. I’ve gone no further than 5000 meters at a time so far but overall I’ve no complaints after the initial set up. Training for crossfit wods with this rower is excellent because of the increased load over the CONCEPT 2. At the easiest fan setting I notice no difference in 500 meter times compared to the CONCEPT 2.
