Farm raised tilapia isn't a great fish. It's a bottom feeder and has that bottom feeder taste. Plus, it's farm raised, so it's not even that healthy. But it's less expensive than a really good fish like wild salmon.

Bought in early afternoon, transported 2 miles in iced chest, and opened to cook for lunch the next day. Smelled bad & covered with sticky slim. 2 out of my last 3 fish purchases in this store have been almost spoiled or horribly spoiled.

Terrific product. Price seems fair. Actually, the product is so great, the price does not weigh on my selection process. I marinate that tilapia with home brew Mami sauce countertop for 15 - 20 minutes and then pan fry in a little of your MM olive oil. ******-that's a good meal!

It’s okay Nothing really special about it, I was definitely glad that it smelled fresh! I didn’t actually eat any so I can’t review on the taste, I don’t really like seafood. The package was really pretty, I definitely liked that and to boot it was my favorite color!

This has a terrible plastic taste to it and yes, I took it out of the package before I baked it. We’ve had bad experiences with tilapia sold in different ways from Sam’s (individually wrapped in frozen section and in fresh fish section) and they’ve all been bad. I think we are just done buying tilapia from Sam’s.

I like that these come in two separate packages, so I can cook them one pound at a time. I put some olive oil and blackening seasoning on them and cooked them in a skillet. They cook in about five minutes. I made some fish tacos using the low-carb street taco tortillas, the homestyle chunky guacamole, Sam's salsa, and sour cream. They were out of this world! I literally ate the entire package by myself in two days. With only 100 calories per 4 oz serving and 23 grams of protein, these are nearly a perfect food. Farming means they are healthier than a lot of wild-caught fish that are exposed to pollution such as mercury. They are also extremely affordable. All the things that are important to me! I will be adding these to my weekly menu. You could also have them with beans and rice or potatoes and vegetables. There are so many different ways to prepare them. Highly recommend! They were very fresh.
