Great texture, and price but tastes a bit bland.

Bought for a family member. Thought it was very high priced

TOO BIG, NOT TASTY

I used to get tilapia that was about 1/2 in thick and in individual fresh fillets. What was gathered for me was fresh, but it was a choppy fillet. It looks as though they were fillets laid on top of each ofther but when you cut to make a smaller portion, there was so much waste, little slivers of fish that could never be used. I was so disappointed, but it was too late, I was already home.

Decent price for the size, buy unfortunately worst thing I've found at sams. We didnt finish off half and the rest was uneaten. I cooked it the way i have any other tilapia from other stores, but never purchased this from Sams. I used what should have been plenty of minced garlic, powdered spices, lemon juice, olive oil etc... and it had like a muddy/freshwater fish/ watered down taste to it. I had to add a fish aioli ftom a restaurant to make it decent.

Have gotten these a few times and they have always been fresh and boneless. The cuts are good and the taste of fresh cooked fish is so much better than frozen. It is worth it to get fresh fish every time. At first I was worried about the amount and possibly having to store raw fish in the fridge, but these cook quickly and taste so good that they don't last longer than one family meal.

Ore Ida potatoes are a great brand

Perfectly cut and clean to breaded and fried for salad toppings or use for sandwich.
