It’s okay Nothing really special about it, I was definitely glad that it smelled fresh! I didn’t actually eat any so I can’t review on the taste, I don’t really like seafood. The package was really pretty, I definitely liked that and to boot it was my favorite color!

Terrific product. Price seems fair. Actually, the product is so great, the price does not weigh on my selection process. I marinate that tilapia with home brew Mami sauce countertop for 15 - 20 minutes and then pan fry in a little of your MM olive oil. ******-that's a good meal!

This has a terrible plastic taste to it and yes, I took it out of the package before I baked it. We’ve had bad experiences with tilapia sold in different ways from Sam’s (individually wrapped in frozen section and in fresh fish section) and they’ve all been bad. I think we are just done buying tilapia from Sam’s.

Great amount for price

The Tilapia was well packaged and of high quality. My family and I had marinated them in a teriyaki sauce and prepared them over a charcoal grill. The came out perfect!!! A must try, SAMS has clean and high quality seafood.

The fish has a reasonable taste after soaking in milk for 20 minutes to get the”fishy” taste out. Package is hard to store in side by side freezer so we no longer purchase it.

Pan fried in panko crumbs. No it didn't stink and tastes fine. It held a firm texture and didn't turn to goo like the frozen China Tilapia. The price is good too at average $2/lb cheaper than supermarkets. Will buy again

Pleasant surprise to find Farm Raised Tilapia. While it seemed like a good price, the BIG PLEASURE was finding farm-raised tilapia since my wife reacts to iodine in ocean fish.

Was surprised by the size and firmness of filets. Seasoned and grilled, they cooked up real nice. I would recommend to give them a try over the frozen ones.
