Great price. Arlo products are pretty amazing. Ive wanted the doorbell cam to add to my 3 Pro 3s and when this went on sale for half price, I couldn't pass it up. It came with 2 batteries as well, and they last quite a while on a single charge.

Install wasnt tough, seems pretty decent so far

I just installed this 3 days ago. The battery was 100% and now its 99% so that looks good so far. I added it to my Google home and I can see the stream. I havent messed with it much in that app yet. The Arlo app seems to work decently, it sends me notifications when it detects things in the zones that I set up on the web page. I kind of wished I would've found a 4k version though, seems like for the price it should be just a little bit better

Very Disappointing!

Bought this for my wife for a Christmas gift 2022. It never worked right from the beginning. It would never detect motion and was very difficult to set up. We recently changed our internet service and tried to change the Arlo wifi network. Forget it! It wasn't happening. Hours online, hours on a virtual assistant chat. Ridiculous!

I was hesitant at first when I saw only one review prior to my purchase( 2 stars). But am glad I did because this wireless video doorbell is just awesome! The video quality is great and you have options to choose from. The amazing part is that, you actually receive a call whenever someone press on it. It was sooo easy to set up in 1 minute. I love my new doorbell

Never got passed the Setup

I'm sure the doorbell would have been great if we were able to get passed the setup process. We had difficulties trying to get the doorbell setup through the Arlo app on our phones. Then we started looking at different videos forums and tried to contact support; none of this helped at all. Also to get a hold of anybody on the support team via phone you first need to subscribe and pay. We had problems during setup when we had to scan the QR code on her phone with the camera on the doorbell, the doorbell would chime but the devices were not able to locate each other.

Requires monthly subscriprion

I didn't see anywhere that to continue motion detection and video recording after the initial trial period, it requires a monthly subscription per device. It isn't expensive but it is money you will need to spend to keep all the functionality every month. What you get to keep without the subscription is the doorbell which will call your cellphone and play on Alexa and maybe other devices which I don't have.

Beware of Arlo

I purchased Arlo cameras through Sam's Club. Not long after Arlo sent an announcement to customers that they no longer will offer the cloud hosting as advertised with the cameras. They want me to buy new cameras and new subscription plans. The cameras are fine. They just want customers to give them more money to keep their business afloat. Stay away from Arlo.
