I was blown away that in this day and age you are sending me a replacement at NO charge! Yes, it's a small inexpensive item, but you didn't even charge me an arm and a leg for "shipping & handling". THAT is customer service you folks can be extremely proud of. I will sing your praises at every opportunity. Thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this kayak for 2 years and am now starting to add features. When doing this you have to get creative. 2 prime examples. The deck plate cover measures 7 inches across the hole. After market covers only measure, 6, 6.8, and 8 inches. You can purchase another cover from life time but if you want a cover plate with a built in mesh bag your going to have to enlarge the hole. You have to get crafty when adding additional rod holders, a paddle holder clip, or boat anchor attachments. Overall a great starter kayak but when your ready for for some upgrades I recommend getting something else rather than attempting to upgrade this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought Tamarack Angler 100 Fishing Kayak (Paddle Included) less than half a year and worn out and was in bad condition. I tried to find a place to fix it but, theres was no place to fix it so, then I conacted the Lifetime company claim department about my Kayak. They checked all the information about the kayak and said that they would normaly deny these claims but, since my kayak was very new they wanted to assist me and get me a new one with no charge. Their costomer service was very understanding and clear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I purchased two of the Tamarack Anglers. During one of our trips, we lost one of the cushioned bottom seats and one of the seat buckles. It was no fault of Lifetime, they just came off and got misplaced. I called Lifetimes customer service department and explained that I thought they probably just flew off in the wind during transport and I had no other logical explanation. With credit card in hand I was fully expecting and prepared to purchase the replacement parts. Tony took my call and to my surprise replaced the parts free of charge and shipped them to my house, and with a couple of extra buckles just in case I lose another one. I am totally impressed with the customer service I received and it was a welcome surprise to see the value Lifetime places on it's customers. Now I plan on getting another Tamarack for my wife with no hesitation whatsoever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got two of these for my sons, 9 and 10. I didn't want to spend the money on a 12' for them because I didn't know if they would love them or not. My thought was that I would need to upgrade them in a year or two. These things are awesome! I'm 6' 230lb and I can totally use them. I should have saved more money and bought myself one of these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received via shipping. Can't wait to try it out. I have owned several kayaks so I was looking for one with specifics I wanted and this one had most. First is sit on top... sit in boats are hard to get out of gracefully, especially for an old big guy! But I've watched young and fit adults struggle as well. Lol The multi foot rest positions are another personal preference. I have owned kayaks with adjustable foot rest.. they are not easy to adjust from a seated position and you tend to adjust your feet often on a decent trip. I really wanted the side mounted adjustable rod holder also and this is the only boat I found designed this way. If you like slow trolling fishing then a center mount rod holder makes it difficult to do. Plus you usually have to lean forward a bit to reach the rod with a center mount. The side mount is an easy reach for a quick set. I'll be pushing the weight limit at 275 but sit on tops won't swamp or sink. The width of the hull looks much wider than any of my previous boats so that will only improve stability quite a bit! Eager to dirty it up with some fish scales and slime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this kayak to get to places that I used to fish by hiking to when I was young. Am now 71 years old and use it to get to old fishing places via water rather than hike. Fishing streams and upper parts of no road lakes and streams simply by paddling and enjoying the comfort of the trip.
