The sturdy handle is easy to hold and prevents repeat strokes. The blades in this razor are still gentle enough to use under your arms and on your legs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the "Gillette Venus Pubic Hair and Skin Razor" with 2 blade refills. When opening the package I ecstatic the razon had a feminine look. I was tired of using the disposables and the "Mans" razors. My razor has a very nice soft pink handle thick enough to hold. I love the way it glides along my legs shaving as a good razor should without nicking or razor burning my skin. I love the razor and the nice smooth skin after shaving.

Seemed to work well enough, so I never considered owning a razor that was specifically designed for trimming the hair down there. The Patented Irritation Defense Bar in the blade cartridge is designed to protect my skin when trimming my pubic hair and it truly does seem to make a difference! This razor also features a Precision Trimmer that easily navigates around the tricky areas. I especially love the Handle! It is easy to hold and fits nicely in my hand. The end portion of the handle is smooth plastic. The section between the smooth portion & the metal that the blade attaches to is coated with silicone. The top of the silicone portion is smooth, while the underside is textured to allow for a sturdy grip. Replacing the blade is very simple. Gillette offers a push button release to remove the old blade. The new blade snaps on with little effort. The blades are very sharp. I was able to shave several times before I needed to replace it. This Gillette Venus Razor for Pubic Hair & Skin is something that I never thought I needed until I put it to use! I will never shave down there with a regular razor again!

The only thing I think could improve this razor would be if the handle were a tad bit longer and had a little more curve to it. It's easy enough to handle and glides across the skin easily.
