The scent is rose, but it’s more of a light floral if anything. Light and not overpowering. My hair and scalp felt clean and not too stripped. It lathered really nice and easy and rinsed off quickly. Surprisingly, it left my hair semi smooth which some drug store shampoos don’t do. This wouldn’t be my everyday shampoo, but I would definitely add it to my rotation.

As you can see from my picture, it did nothing to smooth my already straight hair. This shampoo was drying and lacked the ability to help my hair retain moisture. The only positive I really found was its pleasant scent. Give this one a miss. Even at this price point.

The first thing I noticed was the scent. It smells just like I remember, with a clean, light floral scent that stays in my hair without being overpowering. I’ve been using it at least twice a week, and I use it together with the matching conditioner. My hair feels really clean but not stripped, which I appreciate. It lathers nicely and rinses out easily. It feels lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down, and I like that it still gives my hair a bit of natural volume. Good value for the price considering how well it works.

Unfortunately this matching conditioner is NOT also silicone-free. I will say it conditioned and smoothed nicely with a single application, but my hair is very fine and thin and silicones more than once or twice a week quickly weigh my hair down and leave a greasy appearance. So not at all a daily conditioner for me. The shampoo however is really good!
