I like the scent, but it definitely smells more like candy than roses lol. Good to use every once in a while. Not really sure if it’s meant for my hair, but it’s better than other Herbal Essences products I’ve tried!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I remember Herbal Essences from my teens. It was the IT thing in the late ’90s and early 2000s. Seeing it now still gives me a bit of nostalgia. This conditioner has a beautiful rose scent. It smells like freshly cut roses, almost like standing in the middle of a rose garden. It’s floral-forward but not overly sweet, powdery, or that classic grandmotherly rose scent. It also doesn’t smell artificial or cloying. There’s a subtle hint of something else that rounds it out nicely. The shampoo had the same scent as well. The conditioner is thick and creamy. It rinses out cleanly without leaving any residue. It leaves my hair feeling soft and hydrated. It didn’t weigh down my hair and my hair felt pretty and clean.

The shampoo suds well and a little goes a long way. The pump for such a big bottle is super convenient l, almost makes me want to wash my wash more often. I still like how well it cleanses my hair and prone to oiliness scalp. I have fine hair and it does dry it out.

I love how it cleaned my hair thoroughly without stripping my hair. The gel is super easy to lather and spread throughout my hair. Also I was able to do some light detangling with this shampoo in my hair. I absolutely love my experience of using shampoo, being able to clean effectively and smell good is a 10 out of 10 in my book.

I like that it is clean ingredients, and my hair feels clean and soft after washing. I typically use the Native shampoo and this was similar in terms of clean ingredients.
