I'm not sure that it does much for already damaged hair, but it doesn't have any damaging effects either which is a positive. The color of the product is clear; there is not color tint to it so it looks pretty in the bottle with the label design. And my hair smells like rose petals, so if you like that scent, this one is a good choice.
