Everything about the environment and conditions my car sees says the oil is going to have a big job on it`s hands. Ultra hot 100+ degree summers, sub freezing winters, heavy traffic, not to mention the nature of a high performance engine outside of environmental challenges. I changed this oil at 8K miles and the oil analysis came back absolutely perfect, even with 100K miles on the engine and it didn`t burn a single drop between changes. Three decades of high performance involvement and I`ve not seen an oil quite like this. I have 100% faith in it.

My last vehicle was a 2000 Ford F-150 with the 5.4 engine . From the first oil change a I always used Mobil one , it had 256.000 miles on her and was still running strong , when I traded her for new F -150 . I will continue to use the best synthetic oil available Mobil one . Thanks for such a great product .

In June 2019 I changed the oil in the gas engine of 2013 Chevy Volt using M1 EP and a M1 filter. The gas engine in the Volt only runs when the battery reaches its minimum state of charge. Most of my driving is within the battery range, and as a result, the engine ran for less than 350 miles in the 2 year period. But the battery life monitor in the car just indicated it is due for a change due to elapsed time, so I am draining the "old" oil that is a clean as new, and refilling with the same product again and a new M1 filter. Since this will probably again be a long interval, I am quite comfortable using the Extended Performance oil and the premium filter to protect an engine that is idle for long periods.

I use to change my oil every 3,000 miles with pennzoil.But now that I am retired the last 8 years. I only drive 2,600 to 2,800 miles a year. For the last 3 years,I have changed my oil every late march,or early april with mobil one e.p. 5w-30 and mobil one filter. No problem with my 1999 ford tarsus s/e vulcan,128,000 miles. This will prbly be the last car,I will ever need,and Mobil One,will be one of the reasons.

I had been running Mobil 1 High Mileage 5W30 oil in my truck, and when I had the oil last changed in Feb 2015, the greeter accidentally selected Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W30. I didn't find out until I picked up my truck. I teased him about the mistake, but wasn't one bit concerned about it. Turns out, up in North Dakota, we still had a few weeks of some real cold weather, and I noticed that my engine with the Extended Performance oil seemed to start easier, and run smoother over the Mobil 1 High Mileage 5W30 I had been running. It had a slight tick on cold weather startup that would stop after 30 seconds or so, but it is almost non-existent now, or only lasts 10 seconds, then stops. I had already considered switching since I don't get a lot of miles on the truck per year and had been concerned about a 1 year oil change with the Mobil 1 HM oil. A Mobil customer service associate reassured me that even the HM oil was ok to use for 1 year between oil changes and I might lose the additional protection of the High Mileage additives if I switched to EP oil. I'll just keep a close watch on the engine and see if any leaks or noticeable burning start happening. Otherwise, I feel the accidental switch was a good mistake.

I have over 304,000 miles on this van. I bought the van in 2008 and do the oil changes myself. This oil is so good that I go OVER 20,000 miles on it Every oil change!! I have the oil tested to show how well it is holding up. The people who do the testing said I can go 23,000 miles next time!! I'll take it to 22,000 miles and have it tested and there after I'm going to change it every 20,000 miles. I would like to keep the van until I have 500,000 miles on it. Oh, and by the way, the van does NOT use any oil between oil changes!! After the last oil change, the TBN was 1.9 after 21,177 miles! So I know it will do the 22,000 miles no problem! WOW!! Like I said, best oil for 2008 sienna van!!!

I have been using this and all Mobil one Oils for years. Easy starts in Cold regions of -20 F below zero! Superb Protection in Hot Tropicals of over 100 F . I have been using Mobil 1 synthetic oil for over 10 years in all my and my son's vehicles. None of them have had any mechanical motor issues in all that time. Prior to using Mobil 1 I had 3 vehicles have major mechanical engine issues. I am not a mechanic but am mechanically inclined and am convinced this is some excellent oil.

My daughter had a 2008 Subaru outback that by design, always used some oil. However a few years ago the timing belt broke and ruined the valves ( another story). after this it smoked and used 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles. I tried everything it just had a lot of blow-by sucking thru the PVC. Just as I was about to give up, the Mobil 1 10w40 oil and the oil usage cut in half. I bought the extended performance oil and she now uses about a quart every 4000miles when I change it. I am not kidding when I say I was looing at rebuilding this motor. at 132000 after getting 2 catalytic converters under the PLEV warrantee of 150,000 miles. Now its as good as new oil consumption wise and im happy to say we have zero converter issues at 174800 miles. Unreal!

What can I say…… I’ve been using Mobil synthetic oil for over 40 Years (!) and have had nothing but success with it. This new Extended Performance version allows me to go up to 20,000 miles or One year on a single oil change (Follow your manufacturers recommended oil change schedule listed in the owners manual). Imagine only having to have your oil changed once a year instead of the normal 3 or 4 times a year! Not only will you like the convenience of a yearly oil change, you’ll probably like what it does for your engine. This oil will not only save you money on gas because of the synthetic properties, but it will also clean up any left over sludge and varnish from the previous oil changes. It’s a win-win! Don’t over think this. It’s a no brained. Go out and pick some up today. What have you got to lose!
