They are as good as eating the fish and chips at a restaurant

Will not buy again

I have purchased these for years but in the last year or so the quality has deteriorated. They are so watery that when you cook them they shrink up at least 25%. If you try to squeeze the moisture out before cooking them they are tough and nearly inedible. After I finish this bag I will no longer be purchasing them.

Tasted terrible.

This is the second package of wild caught cod loins that I have bought is the last few months that have some pieces that were tough and chewy both under this current label and Wild Pacific Cod Loin (packaged for Samsclub). I will be returning this package for a refund.

always goood

We like this product, great for baked and fried fish. Haven't been able to buy it from Sam's for most of the past year. Pollak is our second choice so we've been buying individual sealed wrap frozen Pollak from other local stores at a lower price per pound which has a much smaller amount of water content which adds to the value of buying Pollack from other local stores. We like a mild flavor flaky white fish and find tilapia and catfish to be equally disgusting but any other fish Sam's does sell isn't a good option for our home fish fry interests and nothing we've purchase from Sam's Club for our home fish fry meals is useable to us unless we buy our frozen fish preferences from other local stores.

This fish tastes great! The only concern is that the fish is sent to China for processing, likely to save on costs though the package itself says it was caught in Alaskan waters. However, there is an ethical and sanitary concern due to it being sent to China.
