This Cod is delicious! We have made lots of different recipes with it!

Tasted terrible.

Major drop in quality from previous purchases. Some fillets mis-shapen and extremely rank smelling - not edible. Would never buy this again. Lot#7/5/22 178267 200705033J 2100/02567. Someone needs to have a "talk" with whoever the Sam's Club buyer for this product is. They are buying sub-standard product.

We like this product, great for baked and fried fish. Haven't been able to buy it from Sam's for most of the past year. Pollak is our second choice so we've been buying individual sealed wrap frozen Pollak from other local stores at a lower price per pound which has a much smaller amount of water content which adds to the value of buying Pollack from other local stores. We like a mild flavor flaky white fish and find tilapia and catfish to be equally disgusting but any other fish Sam's does sell isn't a good option for our home fish fry interests and nothing we've purchase from Sam's Club for our home fish fry meals is useable to us unless we buy our frozen fish preferences from other local stores.

Since these went out of stock, then returned after a few months, the packaging and fish looks the same, but I have now gone through 2 bangs of the newer version and I never got even one as “tough” (even hard to cut) in the earlier m8-10 bags as these new ones. I guess this was a a way to keep the price the same but they lowered the quality - unfortunately is not there anymore.

This fish tastes great! The only concern is that the fish is sent to China for processing, likely to save on costs though the package itself says it was caught in Alaskan waters. However, there is an ethical and sanitary concern due to it being sent to China.
