The Rayburn's Philly Steak Sandwich's were quick and easy to throw in the microwave, they came out moist but not soggy, in my opinion they tasted just as good as you get at some restaurants for a lot cheaper, only thing missing was the Au jus dip, ti dip the sandwich in, other then that it had good flavors, could taste onion, green pepper, the cheese and the meat.

These Philly Cheesesteaks can either be cooked in the oven or microwave. The microwave is an easy & convenient option but if you like your bread toasted, go with the oven. I felt like the beef tasted like higher quality meat but there wasn't a lot of it compared to the amount of bread it's on. I was surprised at the amount of beef and cheese in the sandwich. While they are not as good as a fresh made sandwich they are a great alternative.

The frozen Raybern’s Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches are especially made to be cooked in a microwave. I had extra time and actually followed the baking directions. It took about 30 minutes to bake two sandwiches. It was worth the wait because the deli rolls came out crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The portion of meat was bigger than I expected and had good flavor without been overly salty. My husband likes a lot of cheese, so he said that the sandwich was a little “light” on the white American cheese. For additional flavor, we both added mustard to our sandwiches. A sandwich is only 410 calories with 15 grams of protein, but it’s a little high on the fat content. In the future, I might add some more cheese or veggies before baking. Always on the go and often spending late nights awake, finding good tasting snacks & meals that are quick and easy to make is that I look for. Raybern's Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches definitely checkmarks the boxes for me when I'm looking for that great, fresh-tasting quick meal. If this were a blind taste test, I would not have guessed that these came from a freezer. Both the bun & meat inside cooked up evenly in the oven. The bun crisped up to my liking, resulting in that perfect hot crunch from the first bite until the last, along with the seasoned beef slices. The cheese had a nice mild tang which complemented all components and did not overpower. I do have 2 minimal critiques: (#1) The sandwich could've definitely benefited from being served w/ a sauce; individual sauce packets w/ each individually wrapped sandwich (perhaps an Au Jus). (#2) The amount of meat that is on the actual sandwich is approximately 75% less than the advertisement on the front of the package. It wasn't a total dealbreaker, mainly thanks to the all of the fresh tasting components. Would buy again.

There is no peppers, onions, or any veggies that I am used to on a cheesesteak. For the cost of the item, the quality matches up to what I would expect. I won't be rushing out to buy these. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I have had my eye on these for a while now and I was not disappointed! There are two different options to cook the sandwiches. Microwave and Conventional oven. For the microwave you have to to defrost the sandwich in the fridge and oven is from frozen. I prepared one in each way and both were delicious! If you like the soft style bun, microwave is the way to go. When using the oven, the bread toasts quite a bit to make it a crunchy style. The flavor is great, meat was tender and the cheese nice and gooey. The meat is a reasonable portion and I felt full after one. They could easily be "jazzed up" with additional condiments of fresh veggies after cooking. Only criticism is that I don't want to have to think ahead. remembering to put these in the fridge to defrost to get the soft style is not ideal for me. Overall I enjoyed them and think they are a good value.
