The bread stays soft. I was especially concerned about microwaving bread and it becoming hard, but it did not! The amount of meat in it could be a little more, but it is only 410 calories, so I did not expect too much. I like that once thawed, it is good for 14 days. This way if I change my mind after thawing it, I did not waste it. Overall, a good quick to cook sandwich.

The packaging is made for microwave’s and help retain the moisture inside. The bread stays soft and doesn’t get chewy like microwaved bread often does. There is a distinct taste of peppers in the meat, which is somewhat of a surprise. I recommend taking the sandwich out of the wrapper immediately after heating, as the juice from the meat will make the bread soggy at the bottom. Overall a great dinner or lunch option!

The Rayburn's Philly Cheesesteak sandwich is pretty good for a frozen sandwich. The bread really does taste fresh and is soft as the packaging states. Sometimes when you microwave frozen bread, it comes out tough and dry, but not this sandwich. The instructions heated the frozen sandwich well. As for the taste, I felt it had an overwhelming onion and bell pepper taste. I would have liked the sandwich much better if it had not been so strong. Other than that, the meat was tender. I had to crumble it apart and place on the meat-arranging the sandwich and then added a slice of cheese from home. Though the sandwich would be best if dipped in aus jus- that's just a preference. It tastes fine- but certainly isn't real roast beef. Its processed meat- king of a beef version of bologna.

No vegetables to make the bread soggy or go slimy when heating the sandwich up. Microwave and oven cooking options where given. I chose to cook mine in the oven. The sandwich came out perfect. The bread and meat were a little crispy on the outside, just the way I like it. The meat was seasoned well, balancing with the creamy cheese. The bread was a nice roll. A good chewy bite but not too thick. I could taste meat and cheese in every bite. Very filling. Great for a quick meal or to take work. I would buy this again. While many food products quality goes down over time, these Raybern Cheesesteaks actually recently got improved since the last time I bought them. The bread, cheese, and packaging is all improved. Will continue to buy and hope to see more flavors at sams!
