I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I found this sandwich to be pretty tasty. I did saute and caramelize some onions and green peppers to add to it and it was a very respectable sandwich. do thaw it out first, it will help to stop the bread from getting dry.

However, the quantity and flavor of the meat was too low for the quantity of bread. Also, when I think of a Philly cheesesteak it always includes onions and green peppers, which this sandwich did not.

I cooked mine for 50 seconds the beef is sliced thin and it has a good amount of white American cheese , the bread stayed soft . The size was enough for an adult . I will purchase it again.

I chose to microwave my Cheese steak. Fast at about a minute. The aroma is wonderful and beefy and the bread very soft. it has about eight thin strips of beef and one slice of cheese. The cheese has typical American white cheese flavor and it melts well without being messy. . It's a smallish sandwich compared to an original and no cheese sauce ( whiz). I do wish it had more beef to go with the nice thick roll. The meat flavor is super rich and goes well with the cheese. You can also prepare them in the oven. Comes six to a box so not a bad value. if you try to compare.it to an original, you will be disappointed, but these are great for lunch. I think kids would like them. no onions or peppers but you could probably add your own to get your serving of veggies and attempt to make it more authentic. This is a good serving portion with a lot of meat but my son and I both thought it was on the dry side since we both like more cheese on our Philly sandwiches. My husband thought it was perfect just the way it is. I will buy it again but will add more cheese for myself and my son.

The meat color is a lot more dark brown than the image on the box. Picking it up, the bottom half of the bun was a bit soggy that the bread would come apart if you pressed on it. The meat inside was salty despite the bun and cheese that is supposed to balance it out. Definitely will have to eat with lettuce or maybe some sort of drink with it. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. These cheese steaks are actually pretty good for microwave sandwich. The meat seems to be pretty high quality and the overall taste, tastes like a Philly. They have Incorporated some of the bell pepper flavor that's traditionally found on Philly cheese steaks so if you're not a fan of the flavor I wouldn't recommend these however they don't actually have peppers it's just how the meat is seasoned. The only drawback to these is the bread. Being microwave the bread ends up being a little soggy or tough. it would be nice to see if they had some sort of tray similar to Hot pockets where it kind of can crisp the bread in the microwave and then you can assemble the sandwich I think that would be better.

Microwaved beef is rarely good, so I had pretty low expectations going in. Much to my surprise, not only was it edible, it was really good! These taste like the meat is cooked with bell pepper and onion's. It's not going to replace a fresh philly but if you like the idea of being able to make one whenever you want despite being nowhere near a restaurant, this is the best option in my book.
