I was so disappointed in this sandwich. There was hardly any meat on it and very little cheese and the bread was really hard. Very disappointed in this.

These are convenient to heat up. Taste good, but could definitely use more meat. Also I remember that previously there were 9 sandwiches in a package, now there are 6. I don't recall any price difference though.

I purchased these thinking it would be a quick, simple lunch when I was busy... While it is quick and simple, I have to choke through it. I won't buy these again.

This was an accidental purchase but I gave it a look. After I opened the package of thawed questionable meat, it went into the trash. The 1 star photos shown here are exactly my experience.

Aweful! Can't taste anything except for the salt. Also, real Philly cheese steaks have onions and peppers. The meat is sliced like sandwich lunch cold cuts.

I had to crumble it apart and place on the meat-arranging the sandwich and then added a slice of cheese from home. Though the sandwich would be best if dipped in aus jus- that's just a preference. It tastes fine- but certainly isn't real roast beef. Its processed meat- king of a beef version of bologna.

The cheese melted right out of them, so next time I will just add extra cheese after I pop them out. I made them in a convection oven and the bread turned out soft and fresh.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I try to eat healthy, but I admit I have a weakness for a good Philly. So let's be clear, these are comfort food and in NO WAY healthy, but they're pretty small in size and definitely less calories than getting an actual philly which would be 2x larger from a restaurant. I was skeptical that these would actually have soft bread like they advertise on the box - after all, anyone who's ever microwaved any frozen entree with bread in it knows it basically turns into a brick as soon as it cools to room temperature. While these fared slightly better and still stayed soft enough to eat, they did get hard and very chewy once they started to cool. The "steak" was strange as it looked like thinly sliced gyro meat, and from reading the ingredients, I guess they add dried vegetables to the meat patty before slicing so they don't have to worry about adding actual peppers and onions. The processed and reformed meat was a bit unnerving and considering these still cost over $2 for a tiny sandwich, I would expect real veggies separate from real, unprocessed steak. At least there was a decent amount of meat on each sandwich. Overall, I won't be buying these again.

I'm glad I bought these Philly Cheesesteaks- they are quick and convenient and only take a minute in the microwave. They also taste good and I was happy to find the bread didn't get soggy or hard. I wasn't expecting much from a frozen sandwich. This one blows the rest away. It was so good and filling. I cooked it from almost frozen (thawed a bit from the time a bought it and got it home) with the directions provided and it was perfect. The beef tastes very similar to a popular roast beef fast food joint. The bread stayed soft and tasted very fresh. If it had a bit more cheese on it, these would be perfect.
