Missing some peppers and onions but simple to add those and we now have a pretty tasty cheesesteak sandwich and they are quick to make! Thank you

My family used to get these all the time but we got sick of them for a while so we stopped and got other things. I recently wanted them again so I got a box. Of course they are not authentic Philly cheese sandwiches. They are frozen in a box from sams club after all. But what they are are, is a roast beef and cheese sandwich. Perfect size for a meal or snack depending on your appetite. The meat is tender. Has a very slight pepper/onion taste and smell but it’s not bad at all. I don’t even like onions or peppers and I eat these just fine. The bread is soft. It’s got a slice of white American cheese. These are fine to eat as is or fix them up a little. For me, I like to open them up fix the meat on eavenly, add another slice of cheese, usually provolone or pepper Jack, and sautéed mushrooms if I have some. My husband likes to add mustard and let and tomato. I think for the price they are worth it.

That said, I was pleasantly surprised at these Philly cheesesteaks. The meat and cheese were quite tasty when cooked in the oven. Only complaints are the lack of bell peppers and onions and that the requested time in the oven made the bread overdone. I will be wrapping it in foil next time to keep the bread relatively soft. Over all, I am happy I tried these cheesesteaks!

I found the sandwich to taste like a Philly cheesesteak but for me it definitely had a saltier taste to it than a fresh sandwich. In a hurry these are a run and random quick lunch or dinner. I would not say these would be a staple in our home. I also would have loved more peppers and veggies.
