only concern is awful chemical smell inside. I have been leaving door open to air out but still there. It also came with chips off paint on outside.

I only got the safe today. Seems like a good enough safe. Only thing is, the safe was knocked around a lot since there where several holes in box. On opening the box and removing the safe, the damage was revealed. The top right corner has on skin, only the steel peeking out from below. The same goes for the left side halfway down. Superficial damages so not going to return it. Not worth returning and repurchasing for that.

If I could have, I would have given it a "0" star rating. This is the second I received because the battery apparatus for operating the digital locking mechanism was broken on the first one. Low and behold the second was broken too. The outer packaging wasn't damaged nor was the manufacturers box damaged. Apparently the manufacturing of that component is extremely poor and cheap and quality control was nonexistent. As for the rest of the safe, I would have been pleased but the digital locking mechanism cannot operate without the battery apparatus.

Everything is almost perfect EXCEPT that the batteries get pushed out when you close the door or move the safe and so even though you cover the batteries with the cover they frequently pop out and you have to end up using your key. Also, the key is like an old style key not the type you can take to get a quick copy of.

The overall construction of the safe is good, however there is no cover plate for the batteries (just the key hook plate that covers the batteries but it isn't snug). The batteries pop out of place constantly resulting in the need to open the safe with the key, which defeats the entire purpose of the keypad safe. I currently duct tape the batteries into place, which isn't ideal.

Nice Safe; Customer Service, not so much. Safe arrived with a missing part that makes one of the interior shelves unusable. I have sent a note (two weeks ago) to Sentry about the missing part but they have yet to send a replacement or even acknowledge the message. I'll try again but not optimistic that we will get a response. May have to go directly to Sam's to get what we need.

I purchased this safe due to the fact it was marketed as top of the line, drill proof, interior hinges, very safe. I used it to store many valuables. I was victim of a robbery this weekend and thieves were able to access the safe and clear the contents within a few minutes. I was told they can do this by using a powerful rare earth magnet which disables the mechanism. If you are to purchase this, it should be as a firesafe ONLY as it is not secure.

Nice and heavy - had to get help to move it into the house and put in place - will be difficult for anyone to remove. It was easy to set up to get the batteries in place to allow the electronic combination to work. It's got amble room for my needs. It's just what I hoped it to be. GREAT product- thanks WM!

This safe is almost perfect for my needs. I was able to easily bolt it to my concrete floor with the included fasteners. Setting the combination was simple and I like the fact that there is a key to open the safe if the electronics fail. The only features the safe is missing are fire resistance and water resistance but safes with those features are much more expensive. A great safe for the money.

It fits in my closet and is very secure and easy to use
