I bought these radios for my crews pulling cable and they have had nothing but good things to say about them ! They really like the larger clips so they can attach them to their harnesses. They are very clear sounding and the battery life is excellent!

Bought two pairs (4 total) to use on a large cruise ship. They worked as expected - not too well from one end to the other, but fairly well about half-way through the ship. Also worked fairly well in port during excursions. Lots of features which we didn't use. Not simple to set up but not real complicated either.

I bought this so be and my buddy could communicate easier. It works good as long as the weather is permitting. Since I live wear it rains and snows a lot I use it when the weather is nice and it reaches straight through town. Otherwise weather is a major factor in if it reaches where you want it to. Which I was surprised. Otherwise works great.

I realize that this is a fairly inexpensive radio set, but using them for a day the headset causes you to have an extremely sore ear. This does not get better with continued use. It also only remains in place if you are not moving your head. As I bought the warranty I will not correct this problem until it runs out. If the radios last that long I will get replacement headsets from the company that I purchase my motorcycle headsets from.

We have several sets of the 2-way radios from Midland and decided to dive into the world of GMRS. Our decision was easy. Based on past experience, we knew we were getting a quality product from a company we trust. Oh, and the shipping time is insane right now in a world of extended shipping times, we got our order the following day.

Unfortunately, it’s not accommodate to all ears and doesn’t stay on well. However, it is unlikely to use these headsets anyway. May attend to adapt them. This does not in any way detract from the quality of this item.

I was able to take these handheld radios with me on an off road 4X4 trail last weekend. Some folks in my group had some super cheap radios that they picked up at a local big box store, and these Midlands showed them up. Our group got seperated, and when they were calling us we were out of their low output range. I then gave them one of mine to use, and the conversations were much clearer. We could get three times as far, and did not lose them again. The bonus was that after a full day of wheeling the Midland battery level did not drop one bar, but 3 out of their 4 radios had died.

I bought this unit for my son when we go deer hunting. I have a pair of these that I bought eight years ago and last year I finally had to buy a pair of batteries. One was still good, but it is nice to have a spare. I always carry extra aa batteries with me just in case. There alot of features on these walkie talkies that I thought I would never use, but I do use more features than I thought. Small and compact is what I like. In hilly and dense forests your range will drop to about a few miles. And I like the fact I can order the battery packs online and pick them up at the store. The ear phones could be a little nicer but for the money I can't complain.

The ordering process was straight forward and easy. Radio received at the time predicted and I was informed by email at each step. The radios arrived in working order, no problems. I've used midland radios for years. They are easy to set up. They always work "out of the box". Never any issues with quality. All in all, good product and fair price

Purchase radios about a month ago.. I've had several ..the best hand held I've ever had.. good volume and clear sound .. transmitting is great I get about 5 miles with the base .. extremely good battery life with the 4 double A's.. love these radios.
