I bought and use these radios primarily for off-roading. I used them this past weekend and they worked great! I and the other Jeep used the two handhelds all day without needing a charge and even when I got home to charge them they still had plenty of battery left. They are clear to understand and quick to setup and get working.

I and most of our jeep club purchased the GMRS radios a few weeks back and are very happy with them. They tested great while we ran a toy run through the city. Operation is easy and range is far better than a CB. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I bought these about 2 almost 3 weeks ago and have actually gotten to use them a few times and they're awesome. They reach about 4 miles in distance and that's where my family and I went 4 wheeling at and they worked so amazingly well. They are very durable. We haven't really wanted to test if they're water resistant or anything. We have lots of littler kids who would probably prove it way wrong so yeah. I would definitely recommend if you want good quality, good range, good battery life walkie talkies these are definitely the way to go.

I bought this so be and my buddy could communicate easier. It works good as long as the weather is permitting. Since I live wear it rains and snows a lot I use it when the weather is nice and it reaches straight through town. Otherwise weather is a major factor in if it reaches where you want it to. Which I was surprised. Otherwise works great.

Unfortunately, it’s not accommodate to all ears and doesn’t stay on well. However, it is unlikely to use these headsets anyway. May attend to adapt them. Great radio... has all the features you need which are easily accessed using the five buttons on the face. The antenna is not removable, but its small enough and beefy enough making it super rugged. It boasts 50 channels, but be aware that channels 23-50 are simply one of the first 22, but with privacy codes. These coded channels only keep you from hearing other users' conversations. I personally find this rather useless as you may very well interfere with other conversation. Is sole purpose is to keep the radio completely siilent until a transmission is made from your other radio. Also note that this radio cannot be programmed to use any repeaters. It is a basic radio for simplex use. In conclusion, it is a great little radio for anyone that wants a two way communication device that is simple and uncomplicated to use. Lastly, I have found the battery holds its charge vell and gives you pleanty of "use time"

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY DAD THAT IS BLIND SO WHEN HE NEEDS ME I AM OUT SIDE HE HAS A WAY TO GET HOLD OF ME, THE BUTTONS ON THE SIDE IS BIG ENOUGH THAT HE CAN FIND IT AND IT BEEPS LET HIM KNOW THAT HE CAN TALK. HOW FAR I CAN GO WITH IT IS NOT BAD YOU CANT GO 10 MILES WITH IT BUT I THINK IT IS BECAUSE I LIVE IN A HILLY AREA. BUT IF ARE OUT IN THE FEILD OR IN THE WOODS YOU SHOULD BE OK. THE BATTARY LIFE IS NOT BAD . I WENT 2 DAY ALMOST 3 DAYS BEFORE I HAD TO CHARGE IT. BUT THAT IS WITH NOT USE IT MUCH. ITS NOT BAD THE HEAD SET FEELS LITTLE OFF TO ME THAT COULD JUST BE ME. IT WORTH THE MONEY IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO SIMPLE THINGS WITH IT.

Excellent walkie talkies, I have tested around 500 mts- 1640 Ft between cars and sounded great. The Vox option it´s great because you can use it just talking, you need to start with a short word, like "one" in order to Vox get activated and start talking in order not to cut your message. Vox function is great because you can get "fingerpain" as my kid said if you use a lot the PTT button. I haven´t tested how far it can work but it sattisfied my necessities. Included rechargeable battery is just ok, ( NiMH 6 V 700ma), if you want a better lasting, you can use 4 spare AA rechargeable batteries.

Just purchased these radios to test them for use in our church security team, so far they are excellent radios. We only utilize them within a range of about 150 yards between buildings, but they are crystal clear in that range even with concrete walls in between us. Only had them for a month so far we will see how durability is?

These are great little radio's , not as good as a mobile unit but much better than a FRS radio. Easy to get a license but of course it is on a government website so a little confusing . $35 for ten years, no test and your family is covered. These do not connect to repeaters but can connect to other hand held several miles away even in congested areas.
