You gradually step down in amount over the course of time.  I think as with any bad habit the first couple of weeks are the hardest. It has a pleasant mint taste making it super easy to take. Overall I am very satisfied. Great product

I have been trying to quit smoking on and off for years now and have yet to be able to kick this nasty habit for good. Unfortunately the flavor of these lozenges was terrible to me. They also left a burning sensation in my mouth that I did not like at all. As far as being able to tell if the nicotine in the lozenges worked or not. I did no longer want to go out and have a cigarette after trying a lozenge instead so maybe another flavor would work better for me.

I decided to try the nicotine lozenges because the gum gave me the worst hiccups that never stopped. The lozenges are pretty good. They are cherry ice so it was an odd Flavor to me but it absolutely did the job and helped remarkably well,fast, too
