I couldn't get the lid off the jar. Neither could the other two people who tried. I'm unable to return it inside the store, so I'm paying for a jar of pepper I have to throw away. I see that other reviewers had this issue also. If you're going to buy it, try the jar in the parking lot to make sure it opens. If it doesn't, you're there to return it.

i haven't used the pepper yet. I was very happy to find organic pepper in a glass container. However, there is no plastic top with holes to shake the pepper out with. I really did imagine it would have a shaker. Why have to transfer such a nice product out of a nice container? I would use it by my stove when preparing food but it still sits on my pantry shelf. you need a maybe for recommend because I don't know if I would with it not having a shaker cap under the metal cap

I have not used this yet, but like the jar it is in. May be too big for what I need.

I am sure it is a great product, but lid was so tight that I could not even open with a rubberized lid opener! What is the use of a product if you cannot even open lid? It will be returned!

Help me-does this not say shaker bottle? There is NO SHAKER lid on any of the $34.00 bottles of spices I just bought! This 7-oz. shaker bottle contains organic black pepper, arguably the most popular spice and used in cuisines across the globe. Zesty ground black pepper comes from whole peppercorns that are ground to a more palatable powder. I like these organic spices and don’t mind paying the price for them since it is organic and it’s in a glass bottle —-BUT SERIOUSLY HOW MUCH COULD A PLASTIC LID WITH LITTLE HOLES COST? Now I gave 6 bottles of spices with no shaker lids. Seriously—how does happen?

I needed pepper and saw this in the store. I only saw Member's Mark and the pepper inside so I just grabbed it. What I didn't notice was the price (too high) and that it was supposedly 'Organic'. I've been using it for about 10 days and I can't really taste it. I will pay more attention next time and stay away from this.

This has a excellent flavor & aroma,it's also super cheap!I USED TO ONLY buy whole peppercorns because I LOVE the fresh-ground taste of pepper...but THIS ground organic pepper tastes JUST like I freshly ground it,it's VERY fresh tasting!!!EVERY kitchen needs THIS pepper!

I wanted to make a combination of Kosher salt and black pepper, when I opened this up the fragrance was amazing I have been using some other brand pepper in the little tin and ran out and I am so glad I bought this.
