Smoked salmon

This is cold smoked salmon. The flakiness you refer to is the dry smoke you do at home. This used to be called Lox. Good with cream cheese and bagel. Yes it is near raw just like sushi. It has diff taste and it is not for everyone. Taste grows on you. I would give a sec chance. Think of sushi !!

We've only had this once, but it was delicious. Not fishy all with great flavor. I cannot imagine what the negative reviewers were tasting, or maybe their reviews have some ulterior motive, but I highly recommend. I didn't understand the price complaint either. The Sam's where we bought this was $9.98 for 10 oz. That's basically $1/oz or $16/lb. I can't find smoked salmon anywhere else that is that low.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews about the texture; what was expected? This is cold smoked salmon not hot smoked or cooked salmon. Do they know that? I find the texture to be exactly as it should be and the flavor is excellent. I've had a lot of smoked salmon in my life - store bought & homemade, hot & cold smoked. This is one of my favorites especially for the price.

Excellent Quality!

This salmon does not have the dry, flaky texture most expect. This is a very moist, cold smoked salmon. Great on crackers, lebné, and any appetizer. Most salmon sourced from Chilé or Peru have massive amounts of antibiotics to control a parasite. Norwegian salmon uses close to zero antibiotics. Great product.

This is the best salmon I have ever had it is phenomenal the smokey taste is the cherry on top!!
