Have enjoyed smoking our meats (chicken and pork loin). Wood fired pizza. Going to try bread. Easy to set up and to use.

First off let my say that I love my Traeger. I'm pretty new into the smoking game and I'm loving it thus far. My food has tasted great and it works like a dream. When talking to others who have different models I do wish it came with some of those features. Mainly the hopper release. There is no easy way to change pellets. It also doesn't have probes built in like some other models. It isn't a big deal for me, I use a wireless probe anyway. Other than those small things, I love it and couldn't go back to not having one.

Good grill/smoker for the price.

I’m not impressed on how low the grill sit. I’m only 5’8 and too low for me. The bending down slightly to flip burgers stresses my lower back. Needs a tray attachment to set items down. Don’t like the cleaning process. Still learning the ins and outs of grilling on a Traeger. Hopefully I can master it.

The auger feed angle is not optimal. The auger crushes the pellets and jams. You have to take the feed unit out and clear it. It's an hour job. This happens when you run it on high heat and the auger is moving fast.

Almost burnt my new house down! Just bought this 3 months ago, everything was great.... until it wasn't! Used about 8 times, and everything turned out great. Read reviews on Google and Reddit about common problems. This is basically an old Traeger 34. common problems: circuit board failure, which makes the auger feed pellets at a very fast pace, and blower most stuck on. which is what mine did. Traeger customer service what's you to take it all apart on the phone, while they kniw exactly what the problem is. I'm taking mine back to Sam's on Sunday. You've been warned
