If it gets moved from the straight up position while in use it will not spray either at all or good depending on how much it is slanted. When fully in ON position, can feel knob click and the arrow on the knob will point to "ON". Check to ensure that cap is not broken. Is the nozzle turned completely to one of the 3 on positions (spray pattern images on tip). If it is in between settings, it will not work correctly. Is trigger lock disengaged?
