The corned beef was cured with just the right of amount of salt that still existed after cooking it to perfection and eating thin slices in a sandwich which included with sauerkraut, rye bread, and mustard.

This was by far the lousiest piece of meat claiming to be corned beef that I’ve ever had the misfortune to purchase. It was tough and stringy. It had almost no flavor. The only gourmet thing about it was the logo on the packaging.

Became a staple for quick dinner for 2 empty nesters that still work long hours, tasty and easy to make with a bag of microwave rice 15 minutes and it’s plated 30 minutes later and clean up is done and bedtime is closer than it would have been

This is not the traditional corned beef application, but I know that it is common. I have actually prepared three of these: Once last Spring and then I just did two last week. These make excellent fare when smoked, I will add that they are very salty. First time I just rinsed off, second time i soaked in cold water over night. I believe next time I will soak for two days, changing the water at eight hour intervals. Overall, Very tasty and tender!

The flat cut was basically two thin pieces of meat sandwiched between two thick slabs of fat. Not worth the price. Barely enough for two people. If I were able to shop in person, I'd have left this behind as an inferior cut. But it was delivered to my car. I guess because no customer who were able to shop in-store would buy it. So this drek was off-loaded to high-risk seniors. Happy St. Pat's Day, eh?

Okay. I typically make a 15+ lb packer brisket which my family goes at with enthusiasm. This didn’t seem as popular.

Worst Corned Beef I ever had….no meat, all fat. it was 3 1/2#. 3#s was pure fat. Will never but again!
