I bought this around Christmas time and am just now starting to use it. There are good points and things I am just not 100% sure of. I have a FR245 that has some battery life issues so I decided to use this watch but, when I finish a run all of the laps don't seem to reflect in the Connect app. Also when I finish a run I am finding that the watch wants to be turned off?? I think maybe I am expecting it to work just like the FR watches and it doesn't and it's something that I need to learn, read up on.

I absolutely love my vivoactive 5. I have been a Fitbit user for 15 years. I can honestly say now that I have converted to Garmin and will stay. I love all the features, it is accurate and feel the accuracy is better. If you are on the fence between Garmin and Fitbit, go Garmin!! Forgot to mention the battery life is Amazing!!!

I have had my vivoactive watch for 3 weeks now and I love it. It gives me all of the information that I need and more. It also helps me understand what the information means in regards to my body and how well it functions. There are so many clock faces to choose from. I pick out a new one every day.

Works well for my needs (60 year old, biking and hiking mostly). Informative features like sleep tracking and heart rate. I like that I can edit the activities and apps that I use the most. The battery doesn’t last as long as I was expecting, but it’s still good. I bought some replacement bands because I don’t like the silicone; switching them out is easy. The mileage tracking seems pretty accurate when I compare it to other tracking apps or known distances. I like that I was able to connect my Spotify account so I could listen to music. The Garmin Connect app is really nice. I’m pleased with my purchase

I have been using this product for two weeks now. It replaced a Timex digital display watch that had served me well for years. I have struggled with getting any customization done. The seventy-plus page user manual isn't the best one I have ever used. My advice - buy a Timex

I have been wearing this two weeks now and have not learned many of the advanced features yet, so I will just report on the basics. Five stars due to exceptional battery life, setup ease, comfort and ergonomics, default display readability, sleep report detail, and telling me my "biological age" when it changes. It has a "body battery" feature that seems neat but I have not learned what that really means yet. I also like that it automatically goes quiet during my sleep hours. This is a huge improvement after spending over 10 years with another brand. So far very happy with this product!

I bought this a month ago as I was getting tired of my apple watch and the battery hold and appearance. I wanted something that looked better and was light weight. While I am still trying to figure certain features out with this watch, I do like it over the apple watch. The long battery life and design is appealing. I am still trying to find the right face as the one I like will only display time and date and not other options, so being able to add more would be great. I have been recommending this to all my friends.

I bought the watch over a month ago and every other day I have to go through the setup process on my phone. It's poor design if it needs to be setup every other day. Don't buy the watch unless this error is fixed. I would worry the software leaks personal data or has other malicious bugs if they cannot get process of setup to work correctly.

I bought my Vivoactive 5 on sale a month ago. I really like all the features and since i am not a runner or rider, it meets most of my needs. I only feel there is one missing element. I would like to have my VO2Max be calculated for exercises other than running and riding. Otherwise, I am very pleased.
