Amazing!

The battery life is spectacular. There’s a little bit of a learning curve but not too bad! It goes with much more than my Apple Watch did. Love the round watch face instead of the square.

It's okay

Great features. however, it lost step count. Constantly having to reset the watch for data to update. Even then, it is 50/50 shot if it did or didn't work. At the cost of this watch, it should be better than what it is.

Battery Issues

I received this tracker for Christmas from my son. I like all the features, but I had to shut most of them off because my battery only lasts a day. Even with things shut off, like pairing to my phone, the Pulse Ox, notifications and others, I have to charge it every day. It is not convenient if I have to spend time charging it, instead of using it.

Great watch and price!

I'm so picky but after trying the Apple watch Series 9, Garmin Vivoactive 6, Garmin Venu 3S, the Vivoactive 5 is perfect for me. It does what the Vivoactive 6 does but not as much storage capacity, which I really don't need. And the price is excellent!

And it tells time

i bought mine a month ago. At 79 years of age at first I felt overwhelmed. Can I get this device to even tell time? I had a Fitbit before. One shower ended its life. At least it died clean. it had been so long since I had purchsed a smart watch I was shocked to the prices had increased so much. Anyway I found this on sale on the Garmin website and bought it. The battery life has surprised me. It is many days. I use it for my chair cardio workouts and hikes. So, I probably have not put this watch through its paces. I also use it for text messages and Ring Camera alerts, On my old watch I had to speed read before the text disappeared forever. On my new Garmin they are saved until I delete. I even get pictures of the transgressor of my Ring coverage, So I am very happy with this watch. I have since bought a plastic screen protector and little plugs for the charging port. Two things I have found odd. #1 the charging cable. The connection end to the charging brick requires an Apple type charger. So I have to use my wife's Ipad charger. #2 it brings a smile to me when I am active and it tells me to get active. Last night I was out walking and it told me to get active. It is not as smart as I thought it was. Or, maybe I am not smart enough to determine how to turn off that feature. Time will tell. And speaking of time, I am glad it tells time too. Regards,

My first and favorite smartwatch

It’s been almost 1-1/2 years since I bought this, and I’m still happy with my purchase! I bought this because I wanted to track my swimming (I’m a biker and love tracking stats, but I needed something that worked in the water). I love how it also tracks my sleep and rest, had many options for sports, and can be paired with my phone )no, thanks; I love being able to disconnect). This watch is much less than many of the other smartwatches out there and has everything (and more) that I need! (Keep in mind my photo is of a watch that has gone through a lot since I bought it, so a few scratches—but I still love it!)

Great Features and Long Lasting Battery

I had my Garmin watch for almost 3 weeks now and I am impressed with the features on it and I am also impressed with how long the battery lasts before I have to charge it again. I have an Apple Watch and I had it for a few years and I would need to charge it maybe twice in the same day. I still will continue to use my Apple Watch so that I can track all of my activity on that watch and of course now on my Garmin watch

Wonderful

I bought this watch after having the Venu 3. This one seemed to be a better fit for me. I am a health and PE teacher and I enjoy running. This watch is perfect for me and my daily needs. Love the size and display. This watch is much thinner than the Venu which I prefer. Additionally, the band on this watch does not irritate my skin. The Venu band severely irritated my skin.

Great battery life

I have had my vivoactive 5 for two weeks now. I simply love it. I was looking for a watch that had a longer battery life than my Lily 2 classic. (which I loved). I get 9 days before I have to charge. Still learning how to use all the features. Ony thing I really not keen on is the band. But easy to change.

I absolutely love this device :)

I just switched from an Apple Watch 9 and i find everything about the Garmin experience to be better. I love the fact I can see everything on my watch, the glances are wonderful ! The sleep tracking is superior, the challenge and badges are so fun in comparison. The body battery and stress is so helpful ! I love the morning report !!! Overall this is a wonderful device, easy to use, with a wealth of helpful information.
