I had wanted a theater quality popcorn machine for a while and had researched extensively to find the right one for home use. I settled on this machine after a friend assured me the 4 oz machine would be plenty big enough. I had also determined that Gold Medal was a quality product. The machine was delivered faster than I expected and assembly was easy. I was popping popcorn about 2 hours after the machine arrived. Family and friends all agree the popcorn is great! I highly recommend getting all the supplies with the machine so you can use it immediately.

I had been debating on buying this popcorn machine for awhile. I finally took the plunge and did and I haven’t regretted it 1 bit. Does a great job popping the corn! We have used it several times and it keeps getting better!

I wanted a home popper based on the larger commercial versions seen at various theaters and other entertainment venues. We have had this popper for approx. 4 years now and love it! We use the handy Funpop 4 oz popcorn packs which can be purchased at Sam's Club. It makes a batch in about 3 mins. and really does not need any other flavoring as the seasonings, coconut oil, etc is in the packs. The popcorn popper itself is a quality popper and is heavier duty than other 4 oz cart and poppers seen in retail stores. There is really nothing to assemble on the popcorn popper and it fits perfectly on the cart. The cart does have some assembly but goes together easily in part because both units are USA Made! There is ample storage inside the cart for the product, cleaning supplies and of course, movie theater style popcorn buckets and bags (also available at this website). Cleanup is a little more arduous than using microwave popcorn but in the end, it is worth it. Our complete Gold Medal Funpop machine and cart sit in our kitchen and look good too!

I have used this only once to date...popcorn was great. Assembly was not too hard. Where this item fails is the directions to pop the corn!! They are lacking! As far as delivery.... this product was not cheap, yet the carrier felt it was okay to leave at front door. Box clearly shows what is in package.

This unit makes great popcorn except when the kettle jams and the popcorn gets burnt. Assembly instructions are of no help; thank God my husband is very good at these types of challenges. Free shipping was a bonus and probably the deciding factor in this purchase as this unit is extremely heavy.

It's cute, but it could use more details. The "Popcorn" print is on the back where no one can see it. It works fast but the noise is unbearable. Also, when it arrived, my "shatter resistant" bulb was broken and the kids could not use it right away. Assembly is not too bad, took about 35 minutes. Hope we get lots of use from it.

I just received this about a week ago and had to return it because the cart that came with it which had to be put together did not have the holes drilled in the correct places and some did not match up. I called Gold Medal from the number in the instructions to ask for a replacement cart so I would not have to return everything. Because many of the imperfections were in the cabinet itself which is all one piece. And they refused to do anything about it stating that never happened before. So I ended up returning everything to Sam's club the next day.
