My tempur-pedic is only five years old sleeping in a hole not comfortable anymore have tried to get a new one but company needed pictures an I did that an they told me it's not good enough so I took more pictures with a ruler for depth an a long broom stick for depth still no new mattress, this company sucks!

Expensive but worth every penny so far. Hybrid Temp goes easy on my aches and pains. I have the adjustable base and it makes a big difference in my acid reflux and also my hip pain. Zero gravity is a little difficult to sleep that way, but I tend to put it on 30 minutes before I get out of bed. Helps with back and hip issues.

Got a twin tempur adapt. Store manager said it's good for hot side sleeper but he was so wrong. I'm 5ft 2 in nearly 200 lbs. Not only it's hot like an oven but my hip sag and only a little better if sleep on the back.Use to sleep 7-8 hrs but now 4 hrs.cos of the pain and heat.its been a month and it's still hot hot hot if add a topper it's too high for me to climb cos with base foundation and mattress it's 29 inches high.use a stool to get on the bed but fell down cos step on the stool wrong at night.i dont feel like changing to another mattress cos couldn't afford to waste time to break it cos I'm not young.want to buy a cooling mattress protector but living on pension I couldn't afford it. Even the mattress is financing.if I know tempurpedic is so hot I wouldn't have got it.its winter and I sleep with short sleeve and shorts but the heat radiates where my body touches specially the back. Hate the mattress. Even the pillow that I had been using is hot.is there anything I can do without wasting more money to cool it down

We are as pleased with this model of Tempur-pedic as our first one. Our original queen-size Tempur-pedic was 10 years old and still in excellent, like new condition. The new one with foundation support is a king-size. We needed the extra sleeping space since my husband is 6'6" and find the king size is a perfect fit for the two of us. We get a great night's sleep. I have a movement disorder and sleep is very important to my health. Our Tempur-pedic gives me the support I need to relax muscles and take away the discomfort from daytime activities. I must stress that we got excellent service chatting on line with a knowledgeable Tempur-pedic associate. I provided the information from our older Tempur-pedic and she matched me up to the newer model - even better than our older prototype mattress. We gave our queen size set to my great nephew who has a very physical job - he's sleeping better, too.

I repeatedly woke up with an aching lumbar region. I felt like there was no depression except at the more weighted areas...hips, shoulders, etc. if I layed on my back to read or just look at my phone,I felt like my chest was being stretched upward... like an upside down "U." Similar in other positions. Had to return.

The mattress is comfortable, especially with the adjustable base IF laying on your back. However, I am not a back-sleepier, I'm a side sleeper and I find myself waking several times during the night because I am not comfortable. I have the mattress 4 weeks and am trying to give it a fair shot. Right now, Im disappointed because I'm not getting good nights sleep and the mattress was not cheap.

The first year on our new Tempur Pedic Adapt Medium was great. Soft yet firm, with support everywhere you need it. Just like I remember from the Tempur Pedics that I slept on for years throughout high school and again after college. But almost to the day one year later, I started noticing neck pain when I woke up. It wouldn't go away, and started getting worse. I got the Tempur Pedic neck pillow, which did help a bit, and my wife says it reduced my snoring. But the neck pain never went away, with some days worse that others. After a few more months, my wife started having trouble sleeping because of back pain. Then I started getting back pain when lying on my back. We realized the areas where we sleep had gone completely soft, yet the sag in the top layer did not meet the company's warranty standards - as determined from the photos that they told me to take and send in. But this issue is not visible from the outside; it is a failure of the foam cells throughout the midlayers of the mattress. I can feel it by shifting to the center of the bed where neither of our bodies lie while sleeping. It feels like a ridge that you can balance on, like a thin sliver of support. But because of the properties of memory foam, there is no way to evaluate this without lying down on it. The mattress retains it's level form even as the interior foam completely breaks down. The company makes an effort to brand themselves as 'high end' and charge a fortune for their products. But just like their beds, the support from Tempur Pedic's customer service team is also severely lacking. It is very impersonal and you feel somewhat betrayed after getting completely shut down without a fair analysis. I am very disappointed with the way this company has become after being a previously happy customer. I used to recommend the beds anytime the subject came up, but I will never again. The product has gotten worse instead of better, and their service is abysmal.

After reading several reviews and trying out this mattress in the store, my wife and I decided to purchase 2 Twin XL's. At first, this mattress seemed comfortable, but after a couple of nights, I noticed that it does not support the upper back, neck, and shoulder areas. I tried several different pillows and tried sleeping in different positions but I just couldn't get to sleep peacefully. When I did wake up, my back was twisted and achy. Secondly, when you turn on your side there is little support and it is quite uncomfortable. After 55 days of restless sleep, I returned this mattress for the Pro Adapt Medium model. With all that being said, what works for one person may not work for another. My wife is satisfied with her mattress but she does not suffer from back and neck issues. Be sure to shop around and try out as many tempur pedic beds as possible before buying. The company has a nice portfolio of different mattress styles and they definitely have something for everyone. Also, make sure you have a pillow that is compatible to the mattress. I noticed that certain pillows work great with some mattresses, but when you switch beds, the pillow takes on a totally different feel. I am pleased that tempur pedic has a return policy. Otherwise, I would be one unhappy sleepless customer. I am very happy with the Pro Adapt Medium Firm Mattress.

The mattress is the perfect amount of support, coupled with the most comfortable level of give. It has helped distribute my weight and pressure in a way that has made my siatic nerve feel manageable for the first time in months. It also feels very cool, which I have appreciated! Overall we are very impressed!
