No matter the expiration date printed on the outer wrapping, there is a spotty layer of white powdery stuff on the outside of the cheese brick. It seems best to cut it off, leaving less cheese.

My wife is a cheese hound and loves her cheeses. So, I picked up this big block of Irish cheese for her and she was excited to have a go… opened the package and all moldy! Terrible discovery and not returnable to Sam's so a bad experience for us.
