Great Viewing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The box was all torn up upon delivery. I was not sure if there was going to be any damage until I turned it on. So far, so good. This TV has a great design which a minimal frame which enhances viewing. Colors are vivid and picture is sharp. The remote control broke the day after I installed TV so was not able to check out any of the apps or all of the features available. Looking forward to being able to explore everything this TV has to offer. I received the new remote, had trouble getting it to work properly. Made a call to Samsung and they were able to take control of my TV (with my permission) and figured out what was wrong and had it working properly in no time. Still getting used to all the apps and their functions. I notice that sometime the picture gets grainy when viewing on Netfix or Amazon Prime Video. Someone suggested it may be the speed of my internet but, I get up to 1000 Mbps so that should not be the reason for it. The sound quality is very good. My only complaint about the volume is it always jumps up or down two, can't raise or lower one by one. I have been binging Stranger Things in 4K and various movies.

Love TV Hate remote

tv does what we want and has a good picture, but the "home" button and the "enter" button on remote are too close together--in fact all the buttons are too close together, and not intuitive at all. if i am watching in a darkened room, i have to flick a flashlight app to make sure i don't punch the wrong buttons. so far good tv, sucky remote!

Great Picture, but......

great picture on this tv, however! the software is awful, layout of apps on home screen are awful and i've not yet found a way to move apps or delete apps i do not want. remote is not user friendly at all, needs backlit keys. placement of small keys which often get hit by mistake and you end up somewhere you don't want to be. they are hard to find with no backlighting. also, airplay is buggy and often won't work or hangs up. resulting it many shut downs and restarts. no chromecast to download and use that i've found. chromecast is generally more reliable on my other tv's. i'd not likely recommend this tv to anyone based on the software and remote. even though it's a great picture i'd not buy another one.

55" Class TU700D Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV (2020)

Great features & easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always questioned the need to upgrade for better picture quality, but I cannot get over the quality with this Samsung! It looks like you can reach out and touch the people on the show! Also surprised at how easy it was to set up, and connect to wifi, streaming services and also receive the Samsung TV stations. Remote control was the easiest I have ever had to program with other devices. Very happy with this purchase!

Great TV with many options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great TV. The smart features of the TV are very responsive and intuitive. Very easy to set up and looks great. Trim and sleek design. Apps and menus are very quick and easy to navigate. My only gripe with the TV would be some of the brightness/darkness issues which are very dependent on your ambient lighting.

Samsung 58 4k smart tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow just blown away by the TV. I have owned samsung products along time and this one definitely blew me out the water. Love the picture quality easy remote functions and able to access internet and apps this is definitely a product you should get I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this tv to anyone asking for a recommendation for a smart tv. Samsung by far is a 10/10. Love how is has tv+ built in added free channels and its easy simple to navigate. This is a must have for anyone when it comes to having a tv in your home.

Nice TV with good qualities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture on this TV is stunning right out of the box. I do have a calibration disc that I use to fine tune the settings on my TVs. I didn't have to change any settings. I was really impressed with that. The sound from the built in speakers is also really very good. The remote is very simple to use and as a bonus it is a universal remote that works my DirecTV system and my sound bar. So no more having 3 or 4 remotes laying around. This thing has almost no frame to speak of which is very sleek looking. It has all the built in apps that you need with dedicated buttons on the remote for Netflix and Amazon. It also has built in Disney+ which is awesome. There are plenty of connections for all your other equipment such as sound bars, game consoles, and DVD players and you can control them all with this TV and remote. The drawbacks I can see is I can turn television on and off with Alexa, but do nothing else.

2 things you should know

2 things you should know. when you 1st turn on the tv, and want to load a specific app, it is very hard to tell which app you have highlighted to click. 2ndly, - fast forward, rewind, pause, play btns are all at the bottom. It's very difficult to hold the remote at the very bottom, and press those keys. i have tried to buy another remote, but anything that will sync w samsung, those keys are at the bottom.

Quality

overall i am happy so far. i have only had the tv for 2 weeks. i dont like the remote. it is confusing. i dont like the “samsung tv app”. there is nothing on those channels worth watching. i dontlike the fact i cannot delete that app. the picture, sound and quality are good.
