Nice TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the 50 in Samsung TV. We got it for our bedroom and love being able to watch Netflix with just a click of the remote. Great picture. I would like it to be easier to access the sleep timer and I have a problem using just the Samsung remote with the Comcast channels but I hope to get that resolved. Overall, it's a very nice TV at a very nice price! I would recommend it!

Best Television Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has to be the best television buy to date. Number three television purchase due to lack of memory for steaming apps. Cant boast enough how amazing the picture quality is. Crystal clear sharpness, amazing color, brilliant picture depth, not to mention how simple is to operate. Also plenty of app memory for steaming . Aways enjoyed Samsung products and this one is no different. Have mentioned this buy to friends and encourage them to get one.

It's the one I wanted.

As a matter of fact, We've bought 2 Samsung TVs this year (the other a 50" crystal) and an A10 Samsung smartphone. All have been as good or better than advertised!

Perfect Home Tailgating TV.

Good product for the price

i love the clear picture of the product. did not like that i have to disconnect my connection of vpn to get it to work with the intent in the same room of the modem. not good. yet my other tv devices cable products and streaming devices on the other tv and tablet works just not that one. overall it's great for the price and quality.

Love Ambient Mode!

Great picture and features

Tried a different remote, still does not work. Must be some sort of software issue. Wish I could link it with the rest of my Google products, but ultimately doesn't ruin the overall experience

Samsung Smart TVs let you sync with Google Home, allowing you the convenience of using voice commands for certain functionalities, such as power on/off, volume up/down, channel change, input source change, and playback control. Here is a step-by-step guide for syncing with Google Home: 1) Make sure you have the SmartThings app on your mobile device. Add your TV device to the SmartThings app. 2) Open the Google Home app on your phone. If you do not have the app on your phone, you can search for Google Home in the Google Play Store and download the app. 3) Select the Add button. On the next screen, select Set Up Device. 4) Press on the text under the title Works with Google. Here you will see a list of accounts. Scroll down until you see SmartThings and select it or search SmartThings by pressing the search icon in the top right-hand corner. 5) Once you have selected SmartThings, press the “Sign in with Samsung Account”’ and use the same Samsung Account you used to sign in on the SmartThings app on your mobile. 6) The TV will be added automatically. This TV is affordable, and good quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our TV has been great. User friendly, lots of TV options included. Roku, Tubi, You Tube, Prime Video, Netflix to name a few. P.S. They are included, but some you need to go and subscribe, and pay for the service. We do stream alot since we bought it, as well as watch regular channels. The color is perfect, picture quality is awesome. We like how thin it is, and not that heavy. You can see the TV quite a distance away, and it is still clear. We have had previous Samsung TV's and always happy with them. Samsung is a great company, and we have phones with them also. I have, and probably will always be a satisfied Samsung customer. I totally recommend this company for TV, or phones.

Slow, only reliable somtimes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this TV, the overall quality is good. But there are times when the software is so slow and I have to wait 10 seconds (or more) for the system to catch up before I can hit another button on the remote. I have also had problems with the picture flashing or not showing colors properly during bright scenes. It also bothers me that some applications are not available on the version of Tizen that works on this model. The most up-to-date software should be available.

To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. I hope this helps to solve your concerns. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to Settings>Support>Software Update Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using and the new version is the latest update. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience by selecting > Auto Update.
