this replaced a 2009 plasma which went in another room. the picture on that is far better than this in every way. this image is dim. a little better after disabling all eco settings but the colors remain bad. nothing is bright except people's faces which are washed out. blacks are never really black. did several factoryresets and updated firmware but nothing is any better. the old plasma tv is so much better. every tv in local stores looks fantastic but they don't have this exact size which i need for the space. i have a service request in to samsung but the earliest they can help me will be after the time i can return this

I purchased this TV a little over a month ago. I absolutely love it. It is much lighter then my previous 55 inch. The picture is fantastic. Set up was very easy. I love that the apps are on the remote - easy access! I am glad I purchased this one.

Watching soccer on it is amazing and I love the sound and picture quality. Generally I think it's a great TV to have because no matter where am sitting, I still get to see everything crisp and clearly.

Would recommend to anyone. It is a little on the lighter side so not sure if I'd recommend a low TV stand where kids can knock it over. I don't worry about that so it's perfect for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a three year old smart TV with the Samsung 7000 series for a larger size but I got a bunch more than just a bigger picture. The clarity is superior and the colors are crisp. The entire viewing experience is far superior than what I was accustomed to. Prior to deciding on the Samsung, I researched brands and models against price and concluded that Samsung gives the most for the cost. I am glad to say that I was proven correct.

i did not give it all 5 stars because trying to use the smart tv function through connection to the internet makes it complicated and slow to access what is far easier to watch by connecting it by hdmi to a laptop. just use one hdmi for the laptop and one hdmi for a video disc player, and the internal tuner built into the tv by connecting it to an over the air tv antenna on a tower and you will have everything you need. do not connect it to your internet account because it is hard to get rid of the mess it makes out of turning it on to watch a tv show or to choose an hdmi. keep it simple and leave these extras out of your installation for the best picture you can find anywhere.
